You knew the boys were crazy, but it wasn't until this day that you realized they were insane.

They had all decided that they wanted to go to their friend and tattoo artist Chris's house to tattoo each other. That, you didn't really have a problem with.

However, your boyfriend wanted to give someone else a tattoo besides his bandmates.

"Come on, babe. It'll be so fun," he tried to convince you on the car ride over.

"No, I don't think it's a good idea," you argued.

"Why not?"

"For one, you don't know how to tattoo. What if I get an infection? For two, you don't know how long you'll be in my life. What happens if we break up and hate each other and now we're stuck with each other anyway? And for three, I've never gotten a tattoo before. What if I start writhing in pain?"

"You won't get an infection because even if I don't know what I'm doing, Chris does. I plan on you being in my life forever, regardless of if we break up. It doesn't hurt that bad," he seemed to have answers for every question on your mind.

"That's easy for you to say. You have a million and one tattoos."

"I promise I won't hurt you. If it hurts, we can take a break for however long you need."

"I just don't think it's a good idea."

"Hey, if you do decide you want one, I'm all for you giving me a tattoo back," he attempted to compromise with you.

You rolled your eyes playfully and continued to drive toward Chris's house, thinking the whole thing through in your brain. You had always wanted a tattoo but you never knew what to choose which was the main reason you were afraid to get one.

You did feel kinda bad for not agreeing because just simply telling Nick "no" made you feel horrible and it made him so sad.

Soon the boys had all finished tattooing each other: Edwin gave Austin a Woodstock tattoo, Brandon and Nick gave Edwin a tic-tac-toe tattoo, Austin gave Nick a lightning bolt tattoo, Zion gave Brandon a question mark tattoo, and finally, Edwin gave Zion a pause/equal sign tattoo.

The more that the afternoon had went on, you thought harder and harder about what Nick had said. You felt like his words were the final push you needed to get your first tattoo.
