𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑰𝒏 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔 //𝑰𝒕𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒊//

𝙿𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝚝𝚠𝚘

The shot rang throughout the auto shop as he turned to see a tall male with black hair and eyes that seemed to shine red in the dim light. The shot was not meant for him, it was a signal of arrival.

Itachi Uchiha.
He was so high up that he didn't even need to conceal his identity. He was part of an elite group called the Akatsuki that basically ran the Spades.

Deidara had never seen him face to face. He had seen him briefly during other jobs and spotted him in public a couple times but Itachi would never have recognized him.

'There's a first time for everything.' the teen thought as he ducked behind one of the cars. He then, brought out a handgun from the open duffel bag and fired twice in his opponent's direction. The shots were only meant to distract the Uchiha as Deidara grabbed a small home made explosive that was designed to make a lot of smoke.

'Even I'm not dumb enough to try and fight an Uchiha, un.' as he tossed the handgun into the bag and made a break for the staircase that lead to the apartments above.

But as he started to run he felt a hand grab the bag and wrench it of his shoulder. The bag was thrown to the bottom of the stairs just three meters away from where he was.

Deidara spun around just in time to meet Itachi's piercing onyx eyes. Itachi looked like he was about to speak but it was too late as Deidara had promptly punched him in the stomach with his empty hand at the first opening.

To his surprise, the raven haired male was wearing a bulletproof vest. Which in fact, hurt his fist a lot.

"Fuck." He grunted. The voice changer making his voice sound lower and crackled. He glared back up at his opponent and for a split second thought he saw a ghost of a smile.

"Are you done?" Came the raven's voice, low and mocking.

"No." Was the teen's only response as he placed the detonator in his pocket and picked a large wrench up of the ground.

Deidara swung hard, aiming for the other males knees. He was expecting impact but instead, there was a hand gripping his arm, stopping him mid swing.

Itachi tried to take the wrench but Deidara just let go and kicked him in the stomach. The Uchiha stumbled back and a look of surprise crossed his face.

Deidara might have seen this as a victory if his hood hadn't fallen back.
