Where am I? (edited)

The sun bowed out early that evening, leaving me in the clutches of night. I cracked my eyes open, squinting into the inky blackness that had swallowed my room whole. My fingers fumbled for the trusty nightstand lamp, but it was playing hide-and-seek. Then panic kicked in, and I sat up like a jack-in-the-box, only to collide with something solid. Instinctively, I reached out, and lo and behold, my hand found a lamp. A quick switch flip, and the room was bathed in a soft glow. Except, hang on a sec – this wasn't my room. Two chairs and a table stood by the bed, giving off the vibes of the weirdest hotel I'd never checked into.

With the speed of someone realizing they left the stove on, I tiptoed to the window and yanked the curtains apart. Night was still reigning supreme. "What do I do now?" I pondered, the first wisps of fear starting to curl around my thoughts. But hold up, Aleya, no need for a full-blown freak-out. I had to figure out where I was. Tentatively, I retraced my steps to the bed. Uncertain about what to do next, I decided to go back to sleep until the morning. Trying to catch more sleep proved to be an uphill battle, but after what felt like a cosmic eternity, sleep finally caught up with me.

Morning burst in with the sun's fanfare, and as I blinked away the last tendrils of sleep, I murmured, "What a weird dream." But reality hit me hard in the face. Same strange room, same old chairs and table. I catapulted out of bed, heading straight for the door. Lucky for me, it swung open without any dramatics. Outside? A sea of empty parking spots, a few lonesome cars, and a splash of nature – trees, bushes, and a sign. A sense of  déjà vu came over me – "Blackbird MOTEL."

Did the name ring any bells? Heck yeah, it did! Supernatural Season 10, right there. Now, I found myself in the heart of the USA. But here's the thing – Sradena's supposed to be located on the other side of the globe. How did I pull off this teleportation stunt? I took a little stroll, and everything looked kinda sorta familiar, but also like I'd stepped into some alternative dimension. I checked my pockets, and luckily found something hard. It was my phone! Quickly i turned it on, only to be greeted with the grim news that I had a measly 5% battery left. Ugh! I stuffed it back into my pocket, clueless about my next move. So, I just followed the street, hoping for a clue or someone to help.

An hour later, the street eventually led me to a big town. With my guard kept high, i entered the first store i saw. An old lady, sweet as pie, greeted me like a long-lost grand-kid. "Hello, my dear. What can I do for you?" Sheepishly i scratched he back of my head and I spilled the beans about being lost. "Could you tell me where I am?"

"Of course, sweetie! You are in Kansas," she said, waving her arms like she'd just revealed the most exciting secret. Well, that took me by surprise! Kansas? How'd I end up here? When she offered a map and water, I hesitated – with empty pockets there was simply nothing i could offer as payment. But she insisted, "That's not a problem. You can have it. No need to pay for it." The lady surprised me yet again! I walked out with a map and a couple of water bottles, thanking her like she just saved my life. "I'm Aleya. Nice meeting you, but I gotta hit the road." The women who introduced herself as Lavinia, shot me a warm smile. "Have a nice day. Would be nice seeing you around." With the Map in hand, I strutted out, ready to unravel the mystery of my spontaneous journey.
