The roar of the engine filled the air, triggering an instant surge of recognition within me. The distinctive sound of a '67 Chevy Impala echoed, and I knew, without a doubt, who the owner was—Dean Winchester. A jumble of questions flooded my mind as the realization set in that I had been abducted. Liam had mentioned that the Winchesters were tailing him. Was Liam here too? Anxiety gnawed at me, hoping fervently that they hadn't harmed him. I strained against the tight restraint of the rope securing my arms.
"Don't try anything. You're sitting under a Devil's Trap," Sam's stern voice interrupted my thoughts. Why had they drawn a Devil's trap? I'm a humans so it's useless. I pondered this as the journey in the car felt like an interminable ordeal. Finally, the vehicle came to a halt, and I was yanked out of it. A firm grip encased my arm, guiding me towards a door and down a dimly lit staircase. Another door creaked open, and I found myself seated in a chair. The blindfold was removed, revealing the imposing figures of Sam and Dean standing before me. Relief and trepidation battled within me as I faced them in person.
Scanning the room, I noticed the Devil's Trap beneath me. Did they genuinely believe I was a demon? It was imperative to set the record straight. "I know what you think I am, but I'm not a demon," I asserted. Dean stepped closer, his eyes drilling into mine. "Shut up and tell me why you were in that boy's house." Boy's house? Did they mean Liam? An urgency to convey my innocence gripped me. "Please believe me. I'm not a demon, and I can prove it!" Dean uncapped his hip flask, pouring its contents over me. Nothing happened, leaving Sam bewildered. "You're not a demon?" he asked incredulously. I shook my head. "I told you. Please untie me, and I'll explain everything." Uncertainty lingered in their expressions.
Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted as Castiel materialized in the room. "Sam, Dean, this girl is not a demon." Their attention pivoted to me, and I couldn't help but utter a quiet "Castiel." Dean questioned our connection, prompting me to explain, "Yes and no. I've never met him, but I've heard of him." Castiel and Dean exited the room.
"Who are you?" Sam inquired, his gaze penetrating. "My name is Aleya. I'll explain everything if you untie me." Sam hesitated, exchanging glances with Dean, but eventually obliged. Dean and Castiel returned, prompting Dean to state, "I think you have some explaining to do." I nodded, and Dean led the way while Sam and Castiel followed. We walked through the secret base of the Men of Letters, arriving at the main hall. They took their seats at the table, and I stood until Sam gestured for me to sit.
"Explain now," demanded Dean, his tone brooking no argument. The weight of my story pressed on me, but I knew they might hold the key to unraveling the mystery that had befallen me. "My name is Aleya Gracia. I'm a hunter in training well kind of, but I'm not from here. Two days ago, I woke up in the Blackbird Motel. No idea how I got there. Liam was kind enough to let me stay with him." Their surprised expressions mirrored my own bewilderment, and the tale of my inexplicable journey spilled forth.
"It's a bit complicated. I believe I somehow shifted between realities," I confessed, meeting the puzzled gazes of Sam and Dean. Castiel approached, his expression curious. "Then how is it that you're familiar with us? I've never encountered a human traversing realities before."
I hesitated, grappling with how to convey my extraordinary experience without sounding utterly absurd. But then again, these were Sam and Dean Winchester – hunters who had faced supernatural oddities beyond imagination. Drawing a breath, I continued, "In my world, there's a TV show called Supernatural, much like Chuck's books. We don't have demons, vampires, or wendigos. Those things just don't exist in my reality. I was a fan of the show and ended up learning everything about hunting supernatural beings."
I paused, reflecting for a moment, and then a recollection surfaced. "Actually, you both have been to my reality once. Balthazar transported you there to protect you from angels." Dean's expression shifted to one of confusion and discomfort as he recollected that event.
