silverkit, honeykit, and angelkit are six moons old! I'm excited as they are, surprisingly! And they're leaping around and can barely walk straight!
I watch brightheart lick them all clean they giggle up the rock. I remember how excited I was when I became an apprentice. Why do I keep remembering things like this! It'd be fine if it weren't frequent but I need answers. But then I realize the reason... it's because of my kits. When I just look at them, I remember things... things I never remembered until now. They make me more playful. Which I'm actually kinda grateful for.
I sit next to brightheart. Firestar made them apprentices I felt a flow of pride. I call their names. Silverpaw! Honeypaw! Angelpaw! Their mentors are great and I hope they treat them with respect. I meet Firestar's eyes and they're also filled with pride. Is it because we have new apprentices
Or is it because he and my kits are related? Either way it's obvious. For me at least. I see daisy with her kits. I had trouble finding him, but I also found her mate spiderleg sitting together daisy's head on his shoulder. That made my heart melt knowing that daisy doesn't like me anymore.
Or at least I think so. I was surprised when I found out that she was talking about a cat dying.... at a gathering! I shiver at the thought and turn away.
