Hunter's p.o.v
It's been a while since the kishin has been defeated and peace was restored. Things have calmed down and it was a little too peaceful for my taste.

It's been a year actually and things were the same, even (y/n's) coma. You would think she would have woken up by now but of course when it comes to her it doesnt work out that easy.

She knew that her spell had a 13% Survival rate yet she used it anyways. I guess she was expecting to die but she didnt, that 13% was on her side that day. I also like to believe her dearly departed mother had a role in that but who knows.

Looking to (y/n) I start to notice how a year has managed to change her. Her once (h/c) hair is now a bit darker and slightly longer then it was a year ago. Her complexion is quite dreary considering it's been quite a while since she has moved or been outside, sunshine from the window can only do so much.

I couldn't help but to sigh, such a fickle women. "Hunter?"

When I heard someone call out to me my focus broke and my attention was drawn to them. The source of the voice belonged to Liz. "Hey" "Hey" she comes over to me and wraps her arms around my waist, leaning her head against my chest.

"What's up?" "Nothing, I just missed you" "I missed you too, that mission you went on was a bit longer then usual" "Kid had a nervous breakdown so that's why it took a bit longer" "Well that's ok"

The conversation ended their with an akward silence. Something was bothering Liz and I could tell it wasnt anything good. "What are you thinking about?" "(Y/n)" "Whys that?" "Shes been stuck like that for a long while, it makes me wonder if she is ever gonna come out of it"

"She will, shes a trouper" "Yeah I guess your right" Liz just flashes me her famous corky smile, letting me know she liked the answer I gave. "Its getting late let's head out" "Alright"

We linked hands before walking out of the room, shutting the light off behind us. Little did we know we were going to miss what we've been waiting for the longest.

Cold, so very cold, cant breathe

I woke up gasping for air, like the life that was forcefully taken from me was returning all at once.

It was hard to focus at first but as everything became full and clear I noticed I was laying in the dispensary bed, it was dark.

Sitting up I realized why I was here. The battle with my father, the spell, the blacking out. I was so sure that I would have died, but there was only the 13% chance of survival, I got lucky.

But lucky didnt help because when i reached for my phone I noticed the date.

A year, a whole damn year that I was sleeping, missing out on things. Did my friends even care? Did Soul move on? Do the twins have no more faith? So many questions flooded to the surface at once and I couldnt help but to cry.

My whole life came crashing down on me the second I used that spell and I never thought twice. How stupid.

Not being able to stand being in the room anymore I grab my cell, wiping the tears from my eyes. I was headed home, the place where I wanted to be at the most. So I took off not giving Shibusen another thought.

Haydens p.o.v
"Wake up! Wake up!"

Forcing myself out of my slumber I see Patty vigorously shouting at me to wake up. "What's wrong?" "You were having another nightmare" "Oh" "Its ok, do you remeber what happened?"

I shake my head no and looked to my digital alarm clock that was set on my nightstand next to my bed. It read 2:30 in the morning. The usual time for my repcurring nightmares to happen.

I can never remeber them but Patty says when she sleeps over sometimes, She can hear me mumbling about (y/n) and some other jibberish that was hard to make out but knew wasnt good. I dont blame her though, I would be just as worried if it was her.

"Are you ok to go back to sleep?" I simply nod and lay back down, pulling Patty into an embrace. I could tell she drifted back to sleep rather quickly because she was relaxed against me.

Not giving anymore thought to the night I found myself drifting off to sleep, the last thing I saw being a quick bright light outside my door.

When I got to the apartment I grabbed the spare key from underneath the potted plant on the right. I hesitated a bit before entering the key into the whole.

When I unlocked the door and entered the apartment things seemed different, in a good way. It was tidy and clean, and looked like it did a year ago. Maka must of helped them because it smells like one of her candles she keeps at her place.

Just the thought made me smile. Putting that small piece of joy behind me for a second I walk over to Haydens room to find him having a "sleepover" with Patty. I couldn't help but to smile, they looked so peaceful laying there like that.

I then made my way over to Hunters room where Liz was sleeping against Hunter just like Patty was against Hayden. Figures. Once again a smile was plastered on my face because I knew they both looked peaceful and happy.

I walk to the opposite side of the apartment where my room was and flipped on the switch. Everything was as I left it. The note I wrote to them crumpled on the desk and my sunflowers in nothing but mint condition.

Everything I needed was all here and I couldnt help but to be happy. I plan on assessing the situation in the morning so I changed into my pjs and slipped into my bed, letting sleep consume me.
