I didn't realize I could run so fast until today. For once I was thankful for Star because I was able to run from a situation I didn't know how to face.
If Soul was truly back to himself, the way he was when I left him a year ago then my song a month ago had to break his heart. Part of me wants to think other wise but I wasn't so sure.
"Conflicted about your old lover huh?" That voice..
I turn around and see Elaine leaning against the nearest building wall, away from the festival. Why would she be here of all places? Why now?
"Why are you here?" "Im not, im in your head, you really should be a bit more careful" at first I didnt quite get what she meant until I looked behind me.
There I was unconscious, but I don't remember that happening. "You must be confused little sister, I'll fix that for you, you lay there because I want you too, its easier for a conversation between the two of us" "Why here? Why now?" "Simple, Im giving you a warning" "Oh yeah, like I'm scared, what could you possibly do?" "Its not what I can do, its what myself and my partner can do"
Partner?
"I see I struck a nerve, and as much as I would love to torture you more your annoying ex is coming to check on you so i'll make it quick, surrending yourself will make this all easier"
Before I had a chance she was gone and I was being forcefully ripped out of my own mind.
Souls p.o.v
Thanks to Star I lost where she went so of course I figure I let her come to me instead.
So Star and I continued our loop through the festival. When we got to the basketball booth I noticed someone laying unconcious on the floor which by the way was covered in snow.
"Hey Star, go get a blanket, there is someone passed out over there, i'll be back"
I made my way over to the unconscious person only to realize half way there that it was (y/n). Of course I booked it and got to her.
Within seconds I had her close to me, checking her over for any injury she may have received from fainting. Thank God there weren't any.
"Jeez (y/n), way to make a guy worry" "Im sorry" looking down at her again she was awake and she looked like she was going to cry.
Your p.o.v
When I woke up, I felt warm and of course I ended up in Souls arm. He said I worried him and I could only apologize before passing out again.

"Do you think she is gonna be ok?" "Yeah, give her space to breathe"
Breathe?
Shooting up, I was panting, and for once I actually had the ability to breathe. It was hardly there but it was there.
Looking around I noticed I wasn't outside in the festival but rather in my own bed, Soul must of brought me here. "Jeez (y/n), you scared us, when Soul brought you to us we thought you were a goner"
Looking towards the source of the voice I saw Hunter leaning against my door frame, Hayden sitting on my floor and Soul peaking his head through the small gap Hunter left.
"Lets just say it wasn't by choice" sighing I get out if bed but instantly fell, before I hit the floor Hayden caught me. "Yeah, you may heal quick but against almost getting hypothermia your powers don't help" "I see that now"
Chuckling Hayden set me back on my bed, pulling the heated blanket back over my lap. I must of missed that little detail between the last few moments.
"Thanks guys" "No problem, now wanna tell us what the hell happened?" "What happened was Elaine, she some how managed to get inside my head and made me pass out" "Im glad you were in the festival and not somewhere we couldn't get you"
Taking a deep breath I held back the tears that were fighting its way back, to before I blacked out.
How do I tell my two bestest friends, boys who have become my family that if I dont surrender myself again they will have to pay right along side me? Hell how do I tell the love of my life the same God damn thing.
Groaning I throw myself against the bed and cover my eyes, fighting harder to hold the tears back.
"What did she say?" "Come on (y/n), you can't keep us out of the loop, remember last time this happened? We almost lost you!"
"Fine, Elaine said if I didn't surrender myself we would all have to pay, me more than any of you" and like that I could feel the dumbfounded looks spread across their faces.
This was going to be a long night.
