"Soul please wait!" "No, what your doing is so uncool, I have to go" "Soul!"
At this point I was getting nowhere and I needed to speak with him before he reached Elaine, god knows I'll get nowhere if I dont.
Lucky for me, he stopped at his locker, which just so happened to still be next to mine. "Listen (y/n), I'm sorry for going all crazy boyfriend on you, but I just dont think we run in the same circles anymore" "But Maka is your meister" "Yeah and roommate and one of my bestfriends, what's your point?" "Shes my bestfriend too"
"You mean old bestfriend" when he said that my heart sunk, what was he talking about. "Her and everyone else is pretending to be your friend still, they think your broken goods"
Broken...Goods?
"Do yourself a favor and leave us alone ok?" He then slammed his locker and walked to class, I of course walked the other way....
No I ran the other way, this wasnt true, what he said, it couldnt be, could it?
When I turned the corner Elaine was talking with everyone, even the twins, going to face the facts I walked towards them, and they all gave me odd looks, I didnt understand until I thought about what Soul said.
Broken goods, I was broken goods to them. So I turned around and ran in the other direction, away from my friends. I made it outside and curled into a ball, letting everything I was holding back out.
Hunters p.o.v
Damn
I abruptly stop myself from falling asleep in Sids class once more by slapping my self. Yeah probably not the smartest move but it did the trick.
At that moment I'm glad I did because I looked next to me and saw (y/n) wasn't breathing, at all. All the color from her face was drained, and it was scary as hell to sit here and look at.
Hayden caught on and saw it as well. "Professor Sid, can we be excused!?" "If someone isn't dying then no!" "What if someone is dead?" He points to our colorless meister and Sids face fell into a state of shock.
"Take her, go!" I of course, being the stronger twin, pick (y/n) up and run to the dispensary where Stien was, everything seemed to be alright until I saw Elaine and Soul there.
"Stien, we need your help!" Stien saw and took (y/n) from me, laying her on the bed opposite to that of Elaine's.
"I saw her do that the other day, dude what's wrong with your meister" looking over to Soul his facial expression wasnt that of concerned nor curious, it was pure agitation.
"Soul, piss off" "Excuse me?" "I said piss off, your girlfriend is fine my meister didnt hit her that hard" "she has a bump and a welt!" "Go take her somewhere else!" "I cant cause Stien was giving her a check up" "Well plans change, now scram" "whatever, let's go"
And with that they were gone and so was my patience, what the hell is wrong with (y/n) and why isnt Stien saying anything!
Your p.o.v
Cold, so very cold, cant..breathe.....
I woke up again gasping for air, like the life that was forcefully taken from me was returning all at once.
When my vision refocused I saw Stien, Hayden and Hunter looming over me, worrying looks written all over their faces.
But why? The last thing I remembered was crying. That's when it hit me, my conversation with Soul, the broken goods, how they are all pretending. Every word he said and every feeling I felt came rushing back at once.
My emotions burst like that of a volcano, letting tears roll down my cheeks. "Are you ok? You scared us, please say something, we hate when you cry"
The twins sat next to me when they said this but I dont know why, I was broken goods to them. That's when it hit me, broken goods. The only person I ever told how i felt was Soul and Soul told Elaine. It all made sense now.
Quickly wiping away the tears I look to the twins. "Sorry, not being able to breath was a little scary" "I can imagine" they both embrace me in a slight hug, being careful not to squeeze to hard.
"I dont know why but it keeps happening whenever I wake up, and it gets worse everytime" "I'm gonna keep you here for an overnight observation, the twins can stay if you want" "Ok" I smile at Stien who walked out of the dispensary before directing my attention to the twins.
"Elaine can change dream, twist them and make your worst fears come alive" "So she can inflict nightmares?" "Yeah, and I'm beginning to think mind control is also her fortay" "You mean Soul?" "Yeah, I dont think she realized she gave me that hint when I had that awful nightmare"
"So now what?" "We wait, Shes bound to try again but this time I ready" "Hows that?" "I have you guys with me" the twins just smirked like idiots before fist pumping eachother. Tonight was going to be an intresting night, it was the night we stopped Elaine for good.
