The next day, I woke up with a huge smile on my face. Every time I thought of Christian, my heart fluttered.
It was a Saturday. Since he only lived two blocks down from me, I decided to walk over to his house. He told me he lived with his older sister, who worked all the time so he would be alone.
Alone.
That word made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't love love love him. I sorta kind of liked him.
When he kissed me yesterday, I sort of felt a strange spark in my heart. I don't know if that's because I've never been loved before or he's the one for me.
I got to his doorsteps and knocked. The cold breeze ran across my skin as I waited. He opened the door slowly.
His hair was tangled and messy. His eyes were half open. I could see he just woke up.
"Hey." I said.
He rubbed his eyes. "Hey."
"Can I come in? It's kind of cold..."
He smiled and let me in. He lived in a small apartment looking house.
"Here, make yourself at home. I'm going to go get um... Ready I guess,"
I looked around and nodded my head. "Take your time."
He walked over to the hallway and into his room.
I sat on the couch and looked around again. The walls were painted sloppily, there were holes where nails used to be, and the T.V had a small crack in the corner. Most of his stuff was gone.
My thoughts were interrupted when Christian walked out of his room. His cologne scent filled the room. He wore a black t-shirt with soot colored skinny jeans. Bracelets ran up and down from his elbow down to his wrist. His hair fell in front of his face. He grinned at me.
"You like?" He turned around, showing off the chain that hung from his belt loop.
"You look..."
I blushed and smiled. "You look cute." I finished.
Cute?! He was perfection.
