My eyes slowly blinked open to blur. All I could make out was three black walls trapping me in a room. I grabbed my forehead and moaned at the pain. "What happened?" I asked, hopping for anyone to answer.

"Glad to see that you're awake," said a familiar voice. Henry. "And to answer your question, I don't remember. The last thing I remember is climbing up the side of the mountain. What about you?"

My vision became more clear, and could make out that the walls were out of black bricks. There were two stone benches that were draped with black blankets. Each had a pillow and I realized that they were beds. But that didn't register to me yet, only the black bricks did.

"We're in! How did you do it?" I asked and almost stood up, but my head was still spinning.

"Well, I didn't exactly get us in." he answers.

"What do mean?" I ask, very confused about what is going on.

Everything went quite. There was a quite hush before, but now it gone and silence lingers in the air. He hesitates to answer. Just as he opens his mouth to speak, fear fills his eyes and he takes slow steps backwards. His eyes stay starring at something behind. He soon as backed himself up against the wall.

A child's voice silently whispered, "Mother, I'm scared." The child was hushed, due to whatever was so scary. That when it dawned on me.

I moved my hands behind my back and they went further than they should if there was a wall behind me. A moved arms further apart, this time I felt a cold metal hit my arm. The Dungeon.

Before I can move further back into the cell, the point of a shoes digs into my spine as I groan in pain. "Get up, Emma," said the queen's evil voice.

I slowly stood up, and brushed the dust off me. "How do you know my name," I questioned.

"Oh, please, you must really know nothing about me. I want something, and that something, you just happen to have."

"And, may I ask, what is that something?" I ask. I try to look brave to stand up to the woman how is feared by the realm. But it didn't last too long.

"I want your magic, and will do anything, anything at all, to get what I want." She says the words slow and carefully, looking me in eyes, challenging me to show fear, to fall to ground and surrender my magic. But I'm not going down that easy, or at least not yet.

"You don't scare me. I barely have any magic, so if my magic is worth something to you, that you zero to no magic at all. Your threats mean nothing to me." Gasps are heard around the dungeon. "I don't know why these people fear you, it makes no sense."

"I forgive you for saying these words that would kill the rest because you are new here. But you haven't seen any of my magic, yet. I can change your useless life. I could kill you and your family. You can either peacefully give me what I want, or we can do it the hard way."

"I won't give up without trying." I say, but I sound scared.

A smile crosses her face. "Don't under estimate me, Emma." She dramatically turned around and walked towards a troll.

I slowly walk backwards toward to a rock bed, and sit down. I cover my face with hands. I could kill you and your family, goes through my mind over and over again. I want to cry but the people in the cells might think that the person trying to save them is going to give up.

"It's going to be okay. Everyone who sees her for the first time is scared to death. Most people can't even talk when they see her." Henry says, trying to comfort me. He sits down next to me and puts his arm around me. I move my hands aay from my face and look him the eye.

"If it is, why wasn't everyone scared? Why were you not scared?" I ask him.

"Oh, trust me, I was scared. But, it was not the first time I saw her. When you were unconscious, she came over to me and I practically fainted. And for everyone else, they've been here for days now, it can't be the first time they've seen here. I can tell that they are still scared. The fact that everything was so quiet when she walked in."

We sit there, starring at each other. His arm is still around me, and I don't want him to move them. I gently rest my head on his shoulder. I wish that we could stay like this forever.

A bell rings in the distance and a deep, rasp voice calls out the words, "Dinner!" There are sounds of meta scrapping across the old floors.

A troll walks toward our cell and pushes two trays through the metal gate. "Stop that and start eating!" the troll says.

Henry takes hold of my hand and gives it a squeeze. We both stand and get our trays.

"We have to get out of here, and I've got a plan," said Henry and explained what were going to do.
