3rd person POV
1 -2-3 "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N" Y/n screamed and jolted out of her sleep, to see her family and friends all staring at her, so!e were smiling, some looked tired, but most of them were laughing at her expression.
Usually y/n would be very angry, but today she was 18, and she didn't want to start off her birthday in a shitty mood.
Your POV
I looked up and smiled fondly at my family, and then out of nowhere I felt 8 bodies hug me.
"Happy birthday mi princesa, I can't believe that you're 18" I looked to my dad and smiled, to be honest I couldn't believe it either
"Me neither, I can believe your dumb ass made it to adulthood, I thought that you would've died of stupidity by now." In one swift moment, I got up and smacked Finn on the side of the head causing everyone except Finn to laugh
"Watch it, Finlay, this is why Noah is the favorite brother." I said while hugging Noah, Noah stuck his tongue out at Finn and continued to hug me back.
"Alright guys, let's leave y/n to get herself ready, and then we can get to the birthday festivities." Mom emphasised that by clapping twice at the end, and everyone was quick to leave me alone in my room.

I'm currently in the car blindfolded, heading to an unknown location, I wasn't very happy because I didn't have a chance to eat yet, I just hope wherever were going has food.
3rd person POV
While y/n was celebrating her birthday, in another part of Forkins, there was 4 ladies that were having a not so happy time.
"Ashley, stop packing for one minute!"
"Why Lauren? Its just a mission, and I'll be back in 2 days." She glared at her mate, before going back to packing.
"Because, everytime you leave, Dua gets all upset, and she needs someone to comfort her!"
"Why cant you comfort her?"
"Because I am the only one always here, and sometimes I'm not in the state of mind to comfort her either. I also need time to myself you know, because now I don't have anyone to depend on, and I have to meet with the Clan elders, and comfort OUR mates too, I need a damn break" Lauren was becoming very impatient with her mate
"We have another mate, why can't Melanie do it?"
"For fucks sake Ashley! Melanie is bad at comforting, and at times like this she is the same, and maybe worse than Dua, she can't mentally handle the responsibility of comforting her
"Well then just leave Dua by herself, she's a big girl." Ashley said as she finished the last of her packing, but her last words were the last strwa for Lauren
"Damnit Ashley, I can't leave her alone, do you remeber how she got after last years incedent? We can't leave her alone!"
"Then you stay with her, and I'll go on the mission."
"No, are you kidding me! Do you want to lose her just like we lost B-"
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT! Everything I do is for you guys, don't you see that I'm also trying to find our last mate, so that we can be less separated. I get that since what happened, things have been rocky for everyone, and not having our mate is making it 10x worse!"
"Finding our last mate won't change what happened, it won't bring her back!" Ashley stared at Lauren, she couldnt believe thst she said that
"I'm aware that this won't bring her back, but at least it will help us cope." She said that in a scarily calm tone, before grabning her back and walking out of the room, shutting the door behind her
