Chapter 21: Shanti and Varun

ADITI POV

Popping my heads between them I said, "They are here! Go talk to them!"

I don't know yaar! I mean, what if Rohan already has a girlfriend!" Riya said worried.

"Ok, I was just waiting for your approval since it's your party. Actually I wasn't. I don't even know what I am saying anymore. See ya!" Shanti said, going towards where Varun was.

SHANTI POV

I walked towards to were Varun was. Before even asking I just sat down next to him. He soon stopped talking to Sidharth, who looked very mad, and soon walked to Aditi.

"Herro, I'm Shanti." I said.

He chuckled, "I'm Varun".

"Cool. When I was at college, there was a stupid guy at my school named Varun. He jumped over a bush. I don't know where the bush came from." I said causally.

He laughed at what I said, "Well I'm not like that Shanti. I think I'm smart.

"Ok if you say so" I said back.

He laughed.... again.

"You know, you laugh a lot." I said after he laughed.

But soon it started again. He gave me his phone and asked for my number.

After I created my contact, he asked, "Tell me more about yourself."

"Well, I'm a year older than Aditi, which makes me 23. I have no siblings, but I do consider Aditi one. I've graduated from Harvard University and um, working pn getting a job as a pediatrician. I'm hoping writing can be my side career, you know author. Yep and that's about. Just like about a few more things you should know is that, break my heart or even one of my friends, I'll break your face. Also don't call me babe or baby, please. Call me little shit or FART, but anything else but those. Lastly, love food otherwise bye."

"Woah yaar. College girl! Independent too! I like it. It suits you. And trust me, I won't call you anything like that. I won't let you break face and food is love, food is life."

"I know. Wait, you've WATCHED SHREK IS LOVE, SHREK IS LIFE. Your such a pervert. Yet that makes two of us. Oh well." I mumbled.

"Oh really? And yes, I've sadly watched it." he said.

He told me more about him and turns out he was 2 years older than me and now a good friend. Hopefully my feelings don't get the best of me.

Later after True or Dare

Aditi said " Good night, or morning... anyways good luck!"

I replied in a harsh tone since Varun was leaning all his muscle weight on me, "Same to you and congrats for.... Siditi!"

''My god, your so fat on muscle!" I said yelling at him.

"I don't care! Your sooo hot! Ugh! Your soo beautiful! I want you even though I barely know you! Come mere pyaar!" he said breathing on me and pulling me closer.

He pushed me into Sidharth's apartment and tried kissing me. But, I pulled back.

"Stop. GO TO SLEEP" I said yelling.

"Sleep with me then" he said flirtatiously.

I pushed him onto Sidharth's bed and he pushed me down also.

"Goodnight Varun" I said.
