When I Met You

Chapter 23: Relationships ~ Part 1

Before you all start to get mad, I will be skipping months in almost each chapter because the event that will happen in the story happens later on towards October (in the story) ENJOY!

ADITI POV

After Sid and I talked about what would be happening, we kind of just distanced from each other. It's been at least a week since New Years and it's sort of been awkward. I thought that we were to busy with our dreams to even see each other.

As my love story was slowly drifting away, others were progressing.

Just as of last week on New Year's Eve, Rohan asked Riya to be his girlfriend. Let me just say they are pretty cute.

Varun and Shanti have been dating for a while. In fact they became official after a month when Sidharth asked me.

Present

I went out to check the mail and what a surprise! Sid was coming out to. Great, just great.

I quickly jogged across the parking lot to where all the mailboxes were.

"256, 256, 256, 257" I accidently said whispering.

"257 is mine Aditi" of course Sid said right behind me, scaring the crap out of me.

I turned around to see him inches away from me. After staring at him for a while I turned back to my mailbox as he did the same.

Mostly there was junk mail. No application response yet. But one bright envolope caught my eye.

Join us for a grand celebration for the marriage of Shahid Singh and Isha Kapadia.

WHAT! AND IT'S IN A WEEK!

What caught my eye was that the invitation wasn't just labeled with my name.

To Sidharth Malhotra and Aditi Singh

"We're still together Aditi. Don't act surprised." Sidharth said close to my ear causing me to flinch.

Turning around again inches away from him I said harshly "I know Sidharth okay! God damn it leave me alone!"

I started walking away but before I could he grabbed my waist and whispered in my ear as my back was in him"Ithna gusa? (so much anger) It can't just be because of what I told you Aditi. Why are you ignoring me?"

"Let me go now Sid" I said touching his hands trying to take them off.

"Not until you tell me why you're doing this" and with that he lifted me up and carried me bridal style to his apartment.

"SIDHARTH STOP" I yelled kicking my feet in the air.

Of course he didn't listen. As we got to his apartment he put me down and unlocked his door. I sprinted to the stairs up to my apartment but soon enough left to muscular arms wrapped around me again that yanked me off the stairs.

"Sid please let me g-" but he covered my mouth and told me to shut up.

As we entered his bedroom he plopped me onto his bed. I didn't let go of his arms which caused him to fall on top of me. It reminded me of when he was drunk the night of my birthday.

He soon realized and smirked as I pushed him off. We both stood in front of each other.

"What Sidharth!" I said.

"Aditi, what the hell is going on! I told you that I'd spend the most time with you before I leave and you're just distancing from me!

"I don't know okay! God, out of all people I didn't expect for you to be saying this. You know, you know that when overwelming things happen to me I tend to push people away! I'm pushing you away because if I spend every second of my life with you, I won't be able to let you go." I said looking down.

He cupped my face, having our eyes locked.

"Why Aditi?" all he said.

"Because you're not easy to forget" I said.

"Shut up Aditi..." he said making me shocked.

"After all I say this is my response? Shut u-" I said.

But he cut me off by smashing his lips onto mine.

His hands left my face and he grabbed my waist. I gripped my hands around his neck as he pulled me closer.

As we pulled away shortly and he said "That was my response. That I love you no matter what"

I smiled and hugged him tight as we kissed again.
