"Kyla come on damn, you can't just not talk to them for the rest of yo life." I said pulling her arm. "Oh yes I can Dave! They betrayed me, why would I talk to them?!" Kyla said mugging me. "Listen! They were the only mfs that gave a fuck about your ass back then and now. You know they would do anything for you and vice versa. They probably didn't tell you for your own good so suck that shit up and come on!" I said as I continued to walk forward.
This time she didn't try to pull away and she didn't say anything smart back. I guess little miss Kyla likes tough love.
We walked into the restaurant we were suppose to meet Larry and Auntie K at. As soon as I stepped into the restaurant I spotted them sitting down.
"Alright they are sitting right over there, behave yourself would you?" I said cocking my head to the side. She didn't reply, all she did was roll her eyes and kept walking.
"What's good Larry? How have you been Auntie K?" I said hugging them both. "Great now that you guys are here, Kyla baby I'm so so sorry!" Auntie K said not even giving us time to sit down. "Gide damn girl, these hormones kicking your ass!" Larry said rubbing her back.
"Mhm so why didn't you guys tell me? That's what I wanna know." Kyla said with a attitude. I pinched her thick thighs under the table then mumbled behave in her ear. I shouldn't have to treat her lil ass like she's 5.
"It wasn't our place Kyla, hell we didn't even know until you moved in with us. We are truly sorry, nothing in this world could change what happened but we are both sorry." Larry said with pleading eyes. By now Kyla ass was in tears.
"It just felt like you guys were on her side when it happened. I don't know who I'm related too. I don't know who to turn to or what to do. Everything is just a blur right now but I do accept your apology." She said getting up to hug them.
"I miss you guys." She said crying like a baby. "We know Kyla , we just wanted to give you time to take it all in." Larry said hugging her back.
"Okay , enough of the emotional stuff. What was your big surprise at the dinner? You didn't get the chance to tell everyone because of the drama." Kyla said sitting back down. "Well ... me and your Uncle Larry are having twins!" She screamed with excitement. "Omg really!!!!! Congratulations you two!!"Kyla said smiling hard.
"Aww shit Larry congratulations man, I hope it's twin boys cause females are tough." I said earning a slap to my head. "Really Kyla, I told yo ass about hitting me." I said mugging her.
As the dinner went on, Kyla and her folks begin to have more bonding time then before. It was a great thing to put together and witness as well. Kyla needed all the happiness in the world and I am here to give it to her.

I am currently sitting in my car waiting to go inside my parents house. I haven't seen my dad or my mother in almost three years. My heart is racing and I don't know how they would react when I knock on this damn door.
"Stop being a pussy bitch and go knock on the door." I said to myself.
I finally put my pride to the side and walked slowly to the front door. Everything felt like it was moving in slow motion which made my nerves even more bad.
"You got this Zeekie." I coached myself before I knocked on the door.
After a while, it seemed as if no one was home so I turned around but stopped once I heard the door open. "Zeekie baby , is that you?" My mom said with her hand over her mouth. "Yes ma'am it's me." I said grabbing her and hugging her tight. "I've missed you so so much sweetheart, please come in." She said pulling away from the hug so I could come inside.
