if you're reading this, it's Christmas day. although i wouldn't put it past you to open this as soon as December starts or just before Christmas day in general. but i encourage you to put this away now if it is not that time yet. i want this to be special.

attached to this letter is my present for you. of course, i will give you another one in person but i want you to have this as soon as possible. schedules often mess up plans, even on holidays.

so, now i am asking you to put this letter down until after you open your gift. i hope you were taught to open the card before the gift. i'll wait. although, i myself won't be doing any waiting until you open the gift. these letters were all pre-written.

alright, i'm hoping you've opened the gift by now. and i do hope you like it.

if you couldn't already tell, it's a ring. i have one just like it. engraved inside is 'forever' in yours, and '& ever' in mine. i hope we can have a forever friendship. that would be nice.

and i will wear my ring until we are no longer talking. but even then i will probably won't be able to part with it.

and i'm sorry for everything you will go through because of me. if i could, i would take all your pain away and store it in me.

and i do hope you never forget me. i pre-wrote these letters so that you'll never feel like i'm gone. but i know that's not possible
