CHAPTER 5

"Carl and I broke up"

Jacee immediately climb off her bed as soon as she remembered what happen last night. Agad siyang napabalik sa higaan ng maramdaman niya ang pagdaloy ng sakit sa ulo niya.

Sinusumpa niya ang lahat ng alcohol na nainom niya!

"Don't force yourself to get up Jacee-baby, just rest"

She look up and met her bestfriend's eyes. Jacee think of a possible thing that happenned for her bestfriend to be inside her room.

"Don't think too much pumapanget ka.." nangingiting sabi nito na ikinasimangot niya saka binato si Enn ng unan.

Tumatawang inilagan ni Enn ang unan na binato niya. "Stop it ba--"

Bago pa nito matuloy ang sinasabi ay natamaan ito sa mukha ng unan na binato niya, siya naman ngayon ang tumawa ng makita ang naging itsura nito.

She's laughing so hard that she didn't realized Enn Climb to bed and started tickling her. Jacee couldn't stop laughing avoiding Enn from tickling her.

Halos kapusin na siya ng hininga sa kakatawa. "Enn---Haha --stop! Hahaha can't bre---ath!"

Doon lang tumigil si Enn sa pagkiliti sa kaniya. Huminga naman ng malalim si Jacee saka sinamaan ng tingin si Enn.

"Papatayin mo ata ako eh!"

"You started it" inosenteng sabi nito sa kaniya.

Enn get something in his pocket as he stand up and reach her hand. Jacee automatically open her palm.

"Drink it to lessen your headache baby-- I'll go check on Hail in guestroom" sabi nito saka dumukwang para halikan ang noo niya.

"She's here?!"

"Yep"

Enn said popping the 'p'.

"You and Hail were drunk last night. Helleah already go home that time and I know that helleah can't handle Hail in drunk state so I decided to take her and you to my house so you can rest" he explained.

Jacee is worried sick about Hail yet she is also worried about what happen last night. She can't remeber anything from last night! Did she get troubled? Did she say something personally? Oh! No!

"Fixed yourself baby then have your breakfast downstairs"

After Enn left and closed the door. She immediately got up from bed and run towards the comfort room. Nagsipilyo si Jacee saka inayos ang sarili bago bumaba para kumain.

Parang sasabog ang ulo niya sa sobrang sakit nito kaya binilisan niya ang pagkain para mainom na niya ang gamot na ibinigay ni Enn.

TRAV EXCITED GIVE his report card to his Dad when he arrived in Dining room. He get high scores in his periodical examinations and perfect scores in quizes.

Finally, he gave his A grade card to his Dad that is busy eating. He hope that after knowing how industrious he can be in school, his dad will smile again after his mother's death.

"Dad! I got A in my report ca--" he hadn't finish talking yet but his dad throw his report card at the ground.

He didn't shouted at him. But coldness and being invisible to his own father kills the innocent heart of him.

Trav shook his head at the memories. Maybe it is a good thing that he hated his dad after what happen years ago, because he is not what he right now if not.

Tumunog ang intercom sa gilid ni Trav kaya napunta doon ang atensiyon niya. In-on niya ang speaker button.

"Sir, Miss Horteza is looking for you should I let he--"

"No! Just let me in with or without my hus--"

"Don't let her enter my office Dem"

After that he turn off the speaker and continue what he is doing until he remember the only person who made his heart melt every time he sees her face.

He can't help but to smile. Fuck! He is in love for fucking 12 years! He never thought that love can be that long. Well he is the proof.

He's been inlove with a beautiful boyish that never been valued by her boyfriend. Kumuyom ang kamao ni Trav ng maalala ang mga pangyayari ng nagdaang araw.

Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin maalis ang galit na nararamdaman niya. Makakatikim rin sa kaniya ang taong yun, magsisisi siya pinakawalan pa niya ang babaeng pinapangarap ko.

"KAMUSTA NA SIYA?" tanong ni Jacee kay Enn habang inilalapag ang sports bag na dala niya.

Galing siya sa training at sinadya niya ang bahay nila Hail para kamustahin ito.

"Still the same."

Its been two days since they get drunk and confessed their very own problems, except from her. Jacee thought that time she was the only broken and needed someone to ease the pain but she was wrong.

All of them needs it, they have their own problems to handle and surpass.

After that day, Hail is always quiet and absent-minded. She never talked to anyone. She's in pain. Jacee can feel that.

Her friend is screaming for help inside yet silently crying outside. When Hail is falling inlove, she gave her everything. Alam niya iyon, alam niya kung gaano kalalim magmahal si Hail.

Si Carl ang naging sentro ng mundo nito. Mundo na sinira din ni Carl. Whatever his reason is, she hope that it is enough to mend Hail's heart. He has his reasons she's sure of that. He should have!

"I'll talk to her."

Tumayo si Jacee mula sa sofa para umakyat sa kwarto ni Hail pero hindi pa siya nakakailang hakbang ng bumaba ito ng hagdan na nakaayos.

Wala ng bakas na umiyak pero wala ring emosyon ang mga mata nito. When Hail reach the last step of stairs. She smile at Jacee.

Hail walk towards her and hug her tight before she speak. "Thank you for taking care of me, it really means so much to me. But now, I'm leaving..."

Bumitaw siya sa pagkakayakap sa dito saka nagtanong."Saan ka pupunta?"

Ngumiti si Hail pero alam niyang pilit ang ngiting iyon. "Somewhere Jacee, I need to find myself, I'm lost...I lost myself for loving him this much. This pain is suffocating me..." may tumulong luha sa mga mata nito. "I w-want to get that piece of shit o-out of my mind and heart. I want move-on..."

She look at Jacee's eyes and she saw how determined she is. "I will move-on, I won't cry anymore because of him. I need to leave because here? I always remember our memories, I always see his face and feel his love and how miserably I am because I can't hug nor kiss him anymore. "

A lone tear fell from Hailee's eyes as she hugs her back. Jacee can feel her sufferings.

"I'm going insane if I keep on staying here Jacee-- I want to leave--- I want to start and try my heardest to forget him"

Jacee hush her and continuesly murmuring. 'Everything will be alright'

Nang tumigil na sa pag-iyak si Hail ay nagpaalam ito sa kapatid at sa kanila saka nila ito hinatid sa airport.

"Call us from time to time ate, okay?" malungkot na sabi ni Helleah.

Tumango naman si Hailee saka niyakap ng mahigpit ang kapatid.

"I love you little sis take care of yourself okay? If someone harrass you don't hesitate to call me, I will gave them a lesson. Be kind to your ate Jacee and Kuya Jay Enn okay?" paalala nito sa kapatid.

Tumango naman si Helleah saka yumakap lalo ng mahigpit kay Hail. Pinauod pa nila ang pag-alis ng eroplano nito bago sila lumabas ng airport.

Seeing the determination on Hail's face earlier, Jacee realized something.

Ito na siguro ang oras para bumitaw siya at palayain na ang sarili niya kay Khian. She wants to try just like what Hail did.
