CHAPTER 12

Hindi malaman ni Jacee ang sasabihin. She is shocked as hell! She couldn't even speak because of what he said a moment ago. She can hear her heart go crazy inside her chest because of silence. Her mind is chaotic, she can't process things right! What the hell did he do to her?!

Her mind is telling her to stop these stupidity and don't get involve with another trouble again while her heart screaming for a yes! Deep inside her she know she's not yet ready to get involve with someone after her break-up, her heart is still in the process of healing.

She doesn't want to used Trav because of  her selfishness, she'll never do that. Trav doesn't deserve to be rebounded. He deserve to be love and maybe it's not her. For now, she can't give her heart and get hurt again.

"Trav...look--" hindi niya maituloy ang sasabihin. Alam niyang masasaktan niya ito pero mas maigi na iyon kaysa umasa ito at mas lalong masaktan.

Huminga muna siya ng malalim sa ka itinuloy ang sinasabi. "Trav you are an honest person, kind and I also want to be honest with you. I'm not yet ready to be in a relationship again, I came here to find myself and not to find partner. I'm sorry, I can't reciprocate your feelings, I don't want you to get hurt in the future if I let you court me. I hope you understand."

She stand up and walk away from him. Bumigat ang pakiramdam niya sa ginawa niya pero alam ni Jacee na ito ang tamang gawin, masaktan man ito sa una lang at hindi nito pagsisisihan iyon.

Pero bakit mabigat pa rin ang pakiramdam niya? Masyado ba talaga siyang napalapit  kay Trav kaya pakiramdam niya ay nasasaktan din siya dahil nasaktan niya ito?

"I didn't asked for you to love me back Jacee..."

It made her stop but she didn't turn to see him. She doesn't want to see his face that is filled with painful expression. It will broke her.

"All I asked is for you to let me show my love for you--"

"No!" pagmamatigas niya. Hindi niya hahayaan na masaktan ito lalo ng dahil sa kaniya. Ayaw niyang makasakit.

"Why? I told yo-"

Nilingon niya ito at kitang-kita niya ang sakit at desperasyon sa mukha nito habang nakatingin sa kaniya.

Nagmamakaawang tiningnan niya si Trav. "Wag mo nang ituloy Trav! Sinasabi ko na sayo masasaktan ka lang..."

"Pero hindi mo puso ang masasaktan Jacee! Akin! Ako ang masasaktan!" nagtaas na ito ng boses na ikinagulat niya pero dahan-dahan din iyong naging malumanay.  "Kung masaktan man ako at least sinubukan ko...mas ayaw kong magsisi dahil hindi ko nagawang ipaglaban ang babaeng mahal ko... ".

May tumakas na luha sa mata ni Jacee. Ganun na ganun din ang eksaktong sinabi ni Khian noon pero anong nangyari? Naiwan siyang luhaan at nasasaktan.

Siya ang nasaktan at hindi si Khian. Siya!

She's not in her right mind when she felt his warm body envelop her. Jacee's heart skip a bit the moment she felt his warmth.

Ang mabangong amoy ng pabango nito ay nanunuot sa kaniyang ilong pero bago pa siya mawala sa sarili ng tuluyan ay pilit niyang kinakalas ang pagkakapulupot ng braso nito sa kaniya.

"Trav let go of me!"

"Jacee I'm not asking for you to be mine, I'm not asking for your attention and love. I just want you to let me show how much I love you, that's it! you don't have to pay attention on what I am doing just let me that's all I ask..." masuyong bulong nito sa kaniya.

Pero kahit hindi nito sabihin alam niyang aasa ito, aasa ito kapag hinayaan niya itong ipakita sa kaniya ang nararamdaman nito.

Ayaw niya pero iba ang binigkas ng labi niya.

"Do whatever you want."

Kahit si Jacee ay hindi inaasahan ang mga salitang sinabi niya. What the heck did she do?! She will definitely regret her decision in the future, she's sure of that.

"Wala ng bawian ha! Sabi mo yan!"

He look like a kid while jumping and punching his hands in the air like he won a jackpot from lottery.

TRAV COULDN'T EXPLAIN how happy he is right now. She let her do whatever he wanted, that is already an achievement for him. All he have to now is make her fall for him.

"Sisimulan ko na ngayon ayos lang ba? Tara kain tayo" abot tainga ang ngiti niya ng ayain ito.

"Don't be too happy Trav, hindi porke't pumayag ako ay oo agad ang sagot sa lahat ng gusto mo" seryosong sabi ni Jacee sa kaniya.

As if he will let her say no.

He gave her a cheeky smile. "I will make you say 'yes' then..." he step closer and reach her face, she stilled because of what he did.

"Let's eat, my lady..." he whispered to her ears.

Lumayo siya ng kaunti para makita ang reaction ni Jacee. Pigil ni Trav ang matawa ng magsalubong ang kilay nito saka siya tinulak at sinuntok sa braso.

"Asshole!"

Kitang-kita ni Trav ang pamumula ng tenga ni Jacee dahil sa ginawa niya. Masama ang tingin nito sa kaniya.

She's cute when blushing and pissed off. What a nice view...

"You are blushing..." he commented, teasing her.

"I'm not blushing you dimwit! I'm pissed that's why I'm reddening!" her face are getting darker. Uh-oh she's turning into a dragon!

"Let's just eat okay...I'm not going to tease you..." he gulped as he begged."I'm hungry...can we just go...please"

"Your fault not mine" she hissed and turn her back.

What the fuck Trav! Tease her? Really?! Your doom! Sinundan niya agad si Jacee nakita itong papasok na sa isang ramen shop.

Nang makapasok siya sa loob ay agad siyang binati ng isang haponesa. Binati naman ito ni Trav pabalik saka hinanap kung saan naupo si Jacee. Nakita niya itong nakaupo sa pinakasulok na bahagi ng shop at umoorder na ng pagkain.

"Upo" malamig nitong sabi ng malapitan niya ito.

Parang bata naman na sumunod si Trav sa iniutos nito. They were quiet until they food arrive. Jacee pushed one bowl of ramen to him.

"Eat up" she ordered him before she it.

Hindi maiwasan ni Trav ang ma-guilty sa ginawa niya. Mukhang nagalit talaga ito.

"Hindi ka mabubusog kung tititigan mo lang ako" seryosong wika nito ng hindi man lang tumitingin sa kaniya.

"Mabubusog na ako makita lang kitang busog" wala sa sariling sabi niya.

Agad namang nag-agat ng tingin sa kaniya si Jacee. Salubong na naman ang kilay nito.

"Ah ganun?" hinila nito pabalik ang bowl ng ramen. "Edi magpakabusog ka sa kakatitig sa akin tingnan natin saan aabot iyang kalandian mo.."

"Joke lang! Hindi ka naman mabiro.."

Kinuha ni Trav naman pabalik ang bowl saka nangingiting nagsimulang kainin ito. Hindi pa siya nangangalahati sa kinakain ng may lumapit sa kanilang waiter.

Nag-angat siya ng tingin rito pero nakuha ng bowl ng ramen ni Jacee ang atensiyon niya. Wala na iyong laman at nanghihingi ito ng isa pang bowl.

He can't help but to smile when Jacee order another bowl of ramen again and again and again until she finished six bowls of it. She eats a lot yet her body is firm, she's a boxer after all. What a cute sadistic boyish.
