CHAPTER 4

"Who are those?!" 

Jacee's eyes landed at the woman who's wearing leather jacket as soon as they enter the club. The woman's brows were at each other, signs that she wamad about something. The teenager beside her pointed her finger at the two boys who smoked and laughing while drinking rum.

She saw how the woman's eyebrow raise as she walk straight to those guys with fury in her eyes.

The woman was Hailee Francisco. She is one of their friends since highschool, she owned Saints Club and a retired kick boxing champion. The girl beside her is her sister Helleah Francisco that is now study Engineering in College.

Kanina habang kumakain sila sa Diner ay nakita sila ng may-ari nun na si Ljay. Isa rin nilang kaibigan at nagkayayaan sila na sorpresahin si Hailee at ito nga ang inabutan nilang eksena. Hailee, picking a fight after her sister got perverse by two boys.

Jacee already had an idea on the situation that's why she, Enn and Ljay are waiting for their friend's next move. Ibinagsak ni Hailee ang kamay sa mesa ng dalawang nag-iinumang lalaki.

Napahinto naman ang mga ito sa pagtatawanan saka tumingin sa kaibigan nila.

"Anong kailangan mo?" tanong ng isa sa mga lalaki na naka top knot ang buhok.

Tumingin ang lalaki sa likuran ni Hailee bago binalik ang tingin sa kaibigan nila.

"Oh! Thank you honey for bringing up that bratty back here!" the top knot guy said with wide smile.

Hailee smirked. "Kilalanin mo sinong kausap mo baka kapag hindi ako nakapagpigil dugo iyang labi mo!"

Natigilan ang lalaki saglit bago ito humagalpak ng tawa na sinabayan pa ng kaibigan nito. Jacee smiled. Smells like trouble. Knowing Hailee, she will do whatever she said.

Dinuro si Hailee ng lalaki habang tumatawa."Ikaw? Paduduguin ang labi ko?" tinuro nito ang sarili. "Oh! C'mon baka nga isang suntok ka lang e!"

Jacee saw how fast her friend move from standing beside the table to grabbing the guys collar. She can see that Hailee is at her limit right now and anytime she will give that guy a lesson.

"The girl you call bratty is my sister and whom ever hurt my sister will face my raging fist!" madiing sabi ni Hail saka sinuntok ang lalaki sa panga na ikinatumba nito sa sahig ng club.

Jacee whisphered 'opps!' as she laughed in her head. Belittling her friend is a wrong move.

Sapo ng lalaki ang panga habang nakasalampak ito sa sahig ng club. Nanlilisik ang mga matang nakatingin sa kaibigan nila.

"Fuck! Who do you think you are?!What a bitch! Just like your slut sister!" sigaw ng lalaki saka sinugod ng suntok si Hailee.

Wrong word. Lalo lang nitong ginagalit ang kaibigan nila. Hearing 'bitch' and 'slut' is enough for her friend to lost her control.

Just like what Jacee said. Hailee attacked the guy. She kick his stomach twice and punch him thrice before it fall down. Hailee must be really pissed for doing that, but what happen next made them all gasped.

Tinakbo ni Jacee ang pagitan nila ni Hail bago pa ito tamaan ng upuan na ihahampas na sa ulo nito. Thank god! She catch it on time! An inch before it hit Hailee's head.

"And who the fuck are you?!"

Lumingon sa kanila si Hailee at agad na napatingin sa upuan na muntikan ng tumama rito. Jacee saw how anger flashed through her friend's eyes as she look at the guy behind the chair.

Agad na inihagis niya ang upuan sa sahig bago tumabi at hinayaan si Hailee sa gagawin nito sa lalaki. He deserve to be hit by Hailee.

Sinuntok ni Hailee ang lalaki na sumugod sa kaniya ng paulit-ulit saka ito tinuhod at sinipa. Kung kanina ay pikon lang ito ngayon ay galit na ang nakikita ni Jacee sa mga mata ng kaibigan.

Hailee stopped when the guards with her sister held her wrist and taking her to step backwards as they get the two guys out of their sights.

Noon lang natauhan si Hailee sa ginawa saka niyakap ang kapatid niya ng mahigpit bago humarap sa kanila.

"You surprised me guys!" she said with a wide smile like nothing happen earlier.

Ngumiti si Jacee pabalik kay Hailee saka ito niyakap. Ganun din ang ginawa nila Ljay at Enn bago sila iginiya ni Hail sa VIP room ng club.

"Drinks?" Hailee asked.

"Tequilla"

"Rum"

"Beer" Jacee said then rest her head on the sofa inside the VIP room.

Tonight she will get drunk and no one can stop her. She need it to release her pain and numb her heart for all the things that happened these past few days.

She want to be drowned in alcohol and get drunk until she can't see her sorroundings anymore. That's her plan.

"Tell me...what brings you here guys? I can sense that you are not here just to drink, so what is it?" Hailee asked.

"We file an annulment"

All eyes were on Ljay as she started to speak. Everyone is speechless and no one dared to asked, they listen as Ljay let out her feeling and shared her story.

"He is not happy anymore, our relationship didn't work as before. It's okay for me but I am thinking of Lexinne and Lauver, I don't want my kids to grow up in a broken family just because of our selfishness. I don't want them to suffer so I'm trying to save our marriage not just because of my babies but because I still love him"

Ljay cried. Enn hugged her and let her burst in tears until she calm down. Akala ni Jacee ay siya lang ang problemado at nasasaktan ngayon.

Napakatapang ni Ljay para harapin ang problema nila kahit pa nga nasasaktan na ito. Jacee adored her for her braveness and she hope that Ljay and Jarix worked out to save their marriage.

She hope.

When Ljay finally calmed down Enn starts to speak. "Ahmm. I don't know what to say.."

"Torpe ka, yun ang problema mo!" singit ni Jacee kaya sinamaan siya ng kaibigan ng tingin.

"Kung torpe ako martir ka naman" balik asar nito sa kaniya saka naglabas ng dila.

Tsk! Kahit kailan may pagka-isip bata talaga ang best friend niya.

"So Jacee the two of you are still together?" singit na tanong ni Hailee habang nakataas ang kilay sa kaniya.

"Hail-"

"Of course they're together Hail, even that fucktard cheated most of the time Jacee didn't complain" Enn cut her off with a smirked.

Nanikip ang dibdib ni Jacee sa sinabi ng bestfriend niya. She want to shout at Enn and tell him that what he said is not true but she can't!

Somehow she understand her best friend's point. He keep on warning and telling her about Khian but she just ignore him. She didn't believe Enn because she trusted Khian so much!

She trust him but ended up hurting her and giving her heartache over and over again. She didn't believe her best friend because she trust that asshole bastard!

"Don't hate me Jacee-baby.." Enn said in a low tone. Jacee look at him hiding her pain as he speak. "I said that to open your eyes baby... so that you can see what your asshole boyfriend is doing behind your back!"

"If I were you?" Hailee interject. "He is now buried six feet under the ground!"

Somehow Jacee felt at ease. May karamay siya sa kalungkutan niya kahit pa nga hindi alam ng mga ito na tinapos na niya ng lahat sa kanila.

Kaya lang hindi pa niya magawang sabihin sa kanila dahil alam niya sa sarili niya na hindi pa siya handang bumitaw. She is still holding on to him, after everything that happen she still love him.

This time all eyes were on Hailee the time she spoke that made every one stilled.

"Carl and I broke up"
