CHAPTER 7

Is this what you called cheating? Jacee asked herself. Gaga! Cheating? Wala na kayo! You're just his EX remember?

Her mind is in chaos the moment Khian enter the scene. Hindi niya malaman kung magpapaliwanag ba siya sa nakita ng lalaki o itataboy ito.

Kumalas siya sa pagkakayakap ni Trav saka hinarap ang ex niya.

"What are you doing here?"

Natural ang naging tanong niya rito. Pinili niya ang itaboy ito para na rin sa sarili niya.

She let herself go from the chain of her love for Khian, she choose to let him go and accept that they're not for each other.

It hurts. She still broken and grieving inside but she can manage herself now. It takes her a long time to realized that she already lost herself in the process of loving him. Without knowing that he is taking advantage of her.

Now she's in her right mind. She will not let this guy to take her sane self again.

"Should I asked you the same thing?" tiningnan siya nito sa mata."What are you doing here babe?"

What the hell is he talking about?!
Is he playing with my feelings again?
Jacee take a deep breathe before she answer Khian.

"None of your business Khian, you can leave now..."

Hindi ito natinag sa sinabi niya.

"Leave?" he looks so frustrated. "Jacee...have you forgotten that I am your boyfriend?"

"Correction Khian 'Ex' I'm 'just' your ex, hindi na ako sa iyo Khian. Mula ng nagloko ka, nakalimutan mo nang girlfriend mo ako at wala ka ng karapatan magdemand sa akin"

Matapang niyang sabi rito. It's true that when he cheated the first time he already broke their bonds to be together in a relationship. Not just one's but many times.

Pagod na siya. Pagod na pagod. Siguro naman may karapatan siyang tanggihan ito hindi ba?

Jacee look at Khian when he didn't say anything.

"What do you really want Khian?" she asked.

He look at her. She already know that eyes want. History repeats itself he smiled sadly in her mind. No, I'm not coming back anymore.

"You"

It's always been like this from tge start yet she still surprised by his words but it didn't change a thing about her decision.

"No, I'm sorry"

"Why Jacee? What is wrong with that? I love you and I know you still love me"

Umiling siya. "Hindi mo naiintindihan Khian. Ayaw ko na!"

Tumawa ito ng pagak sa sinabi niya. Parang hindi ito makapaniwala na magagawa niyang sabihin ang bagay na iyon.

"You don't mean that right?"

"I mean it, Khia--"

"No!" he scold her. "Hindi mo ako hihiwalayan Jacee! You love me! You can't live without me!"

Nakaramdam ng pagkainsulto si Jacee sa sinabi nito. Maybe if she was like before he is right, pero nagbago na ang lahat ngayon.

"Kaya ko, Khian kaya kung pwede umalis ka na" malamig na sabi niya.

"Bakit ka nakikipag hiwalay? Dahil ba sa gagong ito?" tinuro nito ang nasa likod niya.

Naging alerto bigla si Jacee sa maaaring gawin ni Khian kay Trav. She won't let him hurt Trav, hindi pwedeng madamay ang taong ito sa kanilang dalawa ni Khian.

"No Khian! Tumigil ka na! Ikaw naman ang may kasalanan! Ikaw ang nagbigay ng dahilan para magkaganito tayo. Ilang taon akong nagtiis kahit na niloloko mo lang ako! Akala mo hindi ko alam?"

"Pero mahal kita!"

She smile sadly. He love her? Bakit hindi niya mapaniwalaan ang bagay na iyon ngayon? Maybe because she always hear those words everytime he wants her back, but now she won't go back anymore.

"No! Hindi mo ako mahal Khian. Sarili mo lang ang mahal mo! I'm already exhausted, I want to think about myself first. Forget everything about us and live without you"

She turn her back on Khian and ready to walk away when he speak that made her want to punch him.

"Ang sabihin mo may nahanap ka ng bago kaya ayaw mo na!"

Jacee nearly lose herself by his words when someone grab her arm and pulled her away from him.

"That's not right way to talk to a woman-"

Hindi naituloy ni Trav ang sasabihin ng suntukin ito ni Khian.

"Who the fuck are you?!" he shouted as he continue to attack Trav.

She want this to stop!

"Stop! Khian tumigil ka na sabi eh!"

Niyakap ni Jacee si Trav saka pilit na inilalayo kay Khian pero sadyang napakatakaw sa gulo ng ex niya at pilit hinahablot si Trav. One way to stop Khian from hitting Trav.

"Fuck!"

Paulit-ulit na nagmura si Khian ng suntukin niya ito. That's the only thing she could do to bring his senses back. Kinakain na ito ng galit at alam niya ang kaya nitong gawin.

"Wag mo na akong pahirapan pa Khian. Let's end this, I'm breaking up with you formally Khian whether you like it or not. Goodbye..."

Tinalikuran ni Jacee ang lalaki at nagsimulang maglakad palayo rito. Someone grab her arm again and she knew it's Khian, she's ready to scold him when she saw his tears.

Don't! I'm not coming back anymore!

"Jacee...please, give me another chance, please...I'll be good. I won't do it again, I will change from now on. Just please... Comeback to me. Please"
May tumulong luha sa mga mata nito.

She shook her head. Jacee saw despiration in his eyes as he slowly kneeled in front of her. Nadudurog ang puso niya habang nakatingin sa lalaki. Paano nga ba sila umabot sa ganito? Paano nangyari na nagloko ito? Ano bang naging kulang sa kaniya noon at nagawa ni Khian na paulit-ulit siyang lokohin? May hindi ba siya maibigay rito?

She want to forgive him but she already decided and she doesn't want it all go to waste. She's sorry for him. If it happen before, maybe she already pulled him and kiss him, but not anymore.

This is the right thing to do. It is painful and heartbreaking but this is the only thing to find herself worth.

"I-I'm sorry"

Nag-unahang tumulo ang luha ni Jacee ng alisin niya ang kamay ni Khian na nakahawak sa braso niya. Naglakad siya ng mabilis palayo rito hanggang sa hindi na niya marinig ang pagtawag nito sa pangalan niya.

Akala ni Jacee noon ay hindi na tutulo ulit ang luha niya dahil kay Khian pero heto siya umiiyak na naman. Bakit ba kailangan na sa ganito magtapos ang lahat sa kanila?

"Just cry it all, Jacee you need it"

Trav pulled her into a hug and let her tears fall and cry in her arms. She just cried until her both eyes swollen.

Jacee don't know how she'd get home. When she woke up she's already in a room. Room? She look at the ceilng and into the walls. The theme of the room is green.

Jacee look around as her eyes get widen every second.

It's not her room!
