A MONTH WITHOUT YOU
(PART ONE)

WEI YING

I woke up to Lan Zhan humming a tune while hugging me tight. The tune made me feel relax as I gave out a soft sigh before snuggling closer to Lan Zhan. I buried my face on his chest.

'Wei Ying.' Lan Zhan brush my hair off my face.

'Hmm?'

'You do know that I still have a month in Alpha camp and I have to go back to finish my last month there. Even though I already told father that I won't be coming back to school but I still have to. It's all future Alpha's duty to finish alpha camp right before they take their place as Alpha of their pack.' Suibian and I began to whimper at the thought of Lan Zhan leaving us.

'Hey come on. I'm not leaving you forever. I just need to finish Alpha Camp so I can take over the Pack soon and then we can spend the whole time together.' Lan Zhan tried to reason with me but Suibian won't listen and he kept on whining in my head.

'Wei Ying please listen. I won't be that long.' Lan Zhan still tried to explain to me but Suibian suddenly took over. He pushed Lan Zhan away and ran outside. I tried to gain back control but he wouldn't let me.

He shifted into our wolf form and ran for the woods with Lan Zhan trailing behind us. We ended up in the place Lan Zhan showed me. Suibian let out a loud and powerful howl which can be heard for miles.

ZHAO YUNLAN

I ran away from Shen Wei after he told me that he will be needing to go back to Alpha Camp. I don't want him to go. But I know that it's important.

I changed into my wolf form and ran fast since I knew that Shen Wei is after me. Soon I heard a loud and powerful howl, I changed directions and went straight to the source of the howl. I knew it was my brother.

In a hidden part of the forest where a beautiful falls stood my brother in his wolf form. Lan Wangji stood at the other side and it looks like he was trying to come near A-Xian.

I stood beside my brother as we both growled at Shen Wei and Lan Wangji. Soon A-Yang along with his mate A-Chen stood beside us in their wolf forms. What are these two even doing here?

Lan Wangji and Shen Wei then shifted leaving them bare infront of us. My wolf tried to take control but it's a good thing I didn't let him.

I heard A-Xian whine before growling again.

'Wei Ying please listen to me. Let's talk it out. I promise I won't be that long.' Lan Wangji nervously said. And I can guess why he is so nervous my brother's eyes are glowing bright red and his growls held power in them that is actually forcing us to submit to him.

Just how special is my brother. He's more powerful than an Alpha to be exact.

'Yunlan please don't be stubborn let's talk it out back in the Pack house.' Shen Wei also tried to reason me. But that only made me more mad at him. It hadn't been a week and now they are leaving again and won't be back until a month.

I don't know how long we stood there staring at each other but after a while A-Xian took off running fast. A-Yang and I followed him closely behind. A-Chen decided to follow us but stayed a few feet away from us.

We ended up in the training grounds where our parents are. They all rush to us trying to talk us into changing back but our wolves are in control right now. Shen Wei and Lan Wangji tried to come near us but A-Xian let out an aggressive growl making them both take a few steps back.

An hour later and finally our wolves gave us back control and I quickly shifted back. Dad threw a shirt at me which I immediately changed into.

A-Xian and A-Yang followed and two shirts were thrown at them. After changing A-Xian went straight to the Pack house clearly ignoring Lan Wangji who keeps on talking to him.

I was about to do the same when suddenly I collapse. Why? A girl pushed me hard on the ground. She then ran and hugged Shen Wei tight.

'Shen Wei do you really have to go. Why are you leaving me behind again?' She whined which made my wolf and I mad. How dare she. I growled loudly as Shen Wei pushed her aside hard making her fall face first on the ground.

'Yunlan don't jump into conclusions, she's nothing. I don't even know who she is at all.' Before he could come near me I ran straight to the Pack house. I lock myself in my room and didn't went out the whole day at all.

Soon days pass until it's time for them to leave. I watch from my window. I saw A-Xian hugging Lan Wangji tight before giving him a quick kiss. I then shifted my gaze onto Shen Wei who's looking at my window. Good thing the curtains are hiding me well.

When they got in the vehicle and drove away that's when tears finally poured out of my eyes. I cried hard breaking things in my room. I even punch the wall many times making my fingers bleed and some bones break.

I don't know how long I did all that but when I finally calmed down the whole room was completely destroyed. My eyes are bloodshot and puffy while my knuckles are all bloody.

I went out of my room and went to the medical wing. My eyes are now dull the color that was once bright and full of life wasn't that bright anymore.

I was in a daze while the Doctor was bandaging my wounds. After what I did I'm sure Shen Wei can feel it but who cares. After my wounds finished bandaging I went straight to the woods. I changed into my wolf and ran fast.

I didn't know how long I ran but when I finally stop I was not in the Packs territory anymore. I don't even smell anything here just the smell of rotten eggs and meat. It made me want to vomit.

I was about to head back when something hard collided with the back of my head. My vision blurred and I fell on the ground. All I could see is a pair of spiky boots before everything went black.
