Full Moon

Everyone is now busy especially the patrols since they'll be up till pass midnight making sure the whole forest is safe for me. Lan Zhan's dad is making sure that every border from different direction is heavily guarded and no one comes in or out. A few warriors are outside the border making sure no rouges are in the vicinity.

While there all busy planning it all, I'm here being pampered by mom nd dad along with my brother's Yunlan and A-Yang. Since the three of us have wolves that are brothers they have to come with me to the forest tonight.

Even though the moon goddess, my other mother told me that I'll be receiving my full powers, Xingchen and A-Yang will also have one but not as strong as mine. And they won't grow bigger like what will happen to Suibian tonight.

I can't wait to see how Suibian will look like once he gains all the powers and become the size of a Lycan. But along with this comes a greater threat. Qishan found out that almost all the packs won't be sending their heirs so they sent another letter saying that if we don't oblige then war will come upon us all.

And our father's and the other Alpha's chose the second option. It's better to go to war instead of handing the heirs to each packs. And I couldn't agree more with dad. Once I gain my powers training will begin. The major packs will all work together while the minor ones will be taken in. Which means they'll be part of the bigger packs.

But they can still have a pack of their own. It would be more like a kingdom system of some sort where every pack will answer to one Alpha. But they will still have an Alpha of their own. In this situation the bigger packs will grow bigger with more territory.

'A-Xian your father and I won't be able to come with you tonight since the moon goddess instructed that only you and your brother's along with A-Zhan will be in the lake by midnight.'

'Why the lake?' I asked quite puzzled with that. I thought we would only go for a run till midnight.

'The moon goddess will be meeting with the four of you there and will be giving you all a gift besides the power you will gain she will bestow something else.' The three of us nodded before we decided to kill some time.

Mom along with dad joined us and we went to one of the rooms with huge flat screen TV to watch a movie. Later on Lan Zhan and his fmily decided to join long with Shen Wei and Xingchen.

It was night time already. Dinner was quick to finish so Lan Zhan, my brother's and I are now getting ready. A few warriors will be running along side us till we made it near the lake before gling back.

I change into my huge wolf form followed by Yunlan, A-Yang then Lan Zhan. After a few minutes we heard a howl, I then took off running into the woods. We ran and ran till we get to the lake. The lake was glowing brightly as we approach or more like I approached.

My brother's and Lan Zhan stood a good distance from me. Since it's not midnight yet we decided to play for a while. Chasing each other and scaring a herd of deer. After a while of playing I sense a presence near the lake. A powerful one.

'Do you guys sense that?'

'Yeah it's probably the moon goddess.' I look at Bichen before running full speed back to the lake. We saw the moon goddess in her wolf form standing right in the middle of the lake. She was glowing and lot of small white lights are floating around her.

'My child come forward.'

Forward! But it's already water if a take a step forward. I then remembered that I am the child of the moon. With a nod from Bichen I slowly took a step forward. The water seemed to froze under my paw allowing me to step on it and not drown.

I then look at my mom, we both started a staring contest as I slowly walk towards her.

'Now stand in the middle of the lake and howl to the moon as you feel a strong energy surge through you.'

I followed what she said, waiting for a while in the middle of the lake. Then I felt it. A strong energy pouring into me, I can also feel Suibian and I growing larger and stronger as minutes passed by. I look up to the moon and release a powerful howl. My howl was so loud that it probably reach a few neighboring packs miles away from us.

Bichen and the others began howling as well. It went on for a few minutes before I finally felt the strong energy stop. Looking at my reflection made me let out a yelp. My form has grown twice as large as it used to be. My eyes glowed blood red.

I then went back to stand beside my brother's. Mom ushered Bichen to come forward as a white light came out of her forehead. The light went to Bichen's own forehead as he too grew larger. Then followed by my brother's who didn't grow big unlike Lan Zhan and I but I can feel a weird power running through them.

'Guard this powers bestowed upon you three and protect my only heir. Use those powers wisely you three.'

My brother's and Bichen bowed to my mom as she lick each of their cheeks before standing infront of me. She turned back into her human form before kissing my forehead which started to hurt.

'My child a battle shall once again occur. Do well and protect what's good.'

With that she vanishes. The pain in my forehead also disappeared. Since I felt weird I decided to look at my reflection once again to see a half moon in my forehead. Bichen had a half moon on his forehead as well while Yunlan has one on his right shoulder and A-Yang on his left.

I'm guessing this half moons symbolizes the gifts we have been given by the moon goddess. Since I'm still new to this new size of mine I began to run around testing how fast I can go. And I was pretty fast. Zooming here and there like how a vampire is.

I then tried using my powers but nothing came. A few more tries and a blackish red ball of smoke came out of my body and into a rock, destroying and turning it into dust.

'A-Xian let's go back now.'

I turned to Yunlan nuzzling into his side before nodding. We took off and headed back to the pack house.
