Chapter 13: It's Christmas!

December 23rd 2014

Well hi there, long time that we haven't talked, it's the day before Christmas Eve i'm now 21 weeks pregnant and Emma is 30 weeks pregnant! My family and I are really excited so me and Emma are going to do some last minute Christmas shopping today we already did our moms and dad's and I did Maddie, just have to do Abby and then something small for my grandma, grandpa, aunt, and uncle still, I quickly go upstairs and all of a sudden I hear crying and it's Abby, I look in her room and say "Abby what is going on?' "Go Away! I don't want to talk to you, I hate you!" I walk in and say "Well why do you hate me, what did I do to you?" "Well hmm let me think, you didn't ask me if I wanted to go shopping for the family i'm your sister not Emma, she's your best friend and your both pregnant but I mean come on. Well I let my sister come with us because I feel really bad she mentioned to me that she didn't even feel like an auntie and I had her touch my stomach to feel Briella kick and I told her "This little girl loves you and she will need her older auntie to watch her and take care of her okay?" and then we just hugged it out and we told each other that we love one another.

We get to the mall and we go for Abby as we have her go somewhere else so she can't see what we get here, it's a really cute shirt and jeans to match, and then I make sure it was double bagged, we go and do my grandma and grandpa me and Abby pick out a watch for grandpa and a pretty necklace for grandpa, we pick out slippers for aunt and uncle that they will love, "Hey we are done!" I blurt out and then we go and load the stuff into the car and drive on back to the house, me and Emma wrap Abby's gift and then all three of us finish wrapping and I put the gifts in my closet.

I already got something for Emma and Amirah, we've been working on Briella's room ever since we found out she's a girl, I painted her room a turquoise color and she has a crib in there with matching sheets to go with her walls and we got the changing station and a dresser she's pretty much all set, I got diapers and wipes, and pacifiers, and Emma shared some of the clothes with me, I even have a little pink chair in there for me to sit with her and a cute rug that's a little teddy bear, and she has a cute lamp, I'm so excited for my baby girl to arrive.

December 24th 2014

Well it's Christmas Eve and we're all so excited, Emma is staying home with her family today, and we are going to my grandma and grandpa's for a nice dinner and to open presents with them and have dessert, I go and grab's my grandparent's presents and we all load into the car, man is it freezing outside. It was about a 20 minute drive but we all get out holding the food we made and gifts, my grandma lets us in and she give's everyone a hug and me and says "Wow honey look at that belly" "Trust me grandma I know" I put the presents under the gorgeous tree and we all help set up for dinner, when they don't need my help me and Abby run downstairs leaving Maddie behind, and we both lay on the floor and turn the tv on, she rubs my tummy and says "Hi pretty girl" I smile and say "Do you feel her, she hears you" "Yeah I can feel her."

We head back upstairs since it is time to eat my mom is chasing Maddie around trying to get her to the table so I grab her and place her in her booster seat and we bless the food and the ham is being passed around and then everyone starts putting the yummy sides on their plates and so do I and then we all start eating and just all catching up and have some laughs here and there. After we eat we start to do the cleaning up I help bring some of the plates to the kitchen and then the food, my mom says to me "Honey we got the cleaning go play with Maddie" I go and find her and scoop her up and tickle her and then we go up to the room she has here and we play with some of the dolls she has and I do good at keeping her entertained till it's time for presents and then I pick her up and we head downstairs I have her sit on the floor next to me and my grandma starts handing out presents, first my mom, then my dad, then Abby, then me, and I help Maddie with hers my mom gets her pile, everyone has a huge pile we watch my mom open her's she gets a couple sweaters, some lotions and body wash, and some really pretty jewelry, then it's time for me and Abby we both got a new laptop and I say "Wow grandma thank you" I got a couple cute new clothes some maternity and some for when I'm done being pregnant, I also got new earrings and some slippers, I get up and give her a hug then I help Maddie after my dad opens his he got slippers, pajama pants, jeans, and new shirts, my little sister gets some new clothes and a cute new stuffed animal.

After presents it is time for dessert, we head back to the table where there is apple pie, cheesecake, pumpkin pie, brownies and cookies, I have a sliver of apple, cheesecake and pumpkin then a small brownie and i'm done eating for the night, after we're all done it's late and Maddie is asleep in my arms, so my mom grabs her present's, mine and Maddie's everyone grabs there own and we tell my grandma thank you and then she remembers "Oh Ali here's a present for Briella" "Thank you grandma" and we load into the car and

drive home.

December 25th 2014

It's Christmas morning! I'm so excited I head downstairs and my mom and dad are already awake and my two sisters "Oh you guys were waiting for me?" my mom gives us our stockings and I got some chocolate m&m's, lotion and body wash, and new phone cover same as Abby, then she hands us our present's I open a new phone, the Samsung Galaxy s5 "Omg thank you mom!" Abby got the Iphone 5s that she wanted and then I open some new shirts and jeans and a pretty alex and ani bracelet I hug my mom and hand my parents there presents and my two sisters, Maddie got a little game thing to help her learn and some new clothes and from me I got her a cute pink stuffed animal, and then Abby hugs me and says "Thank you sis" Abby got me a cute vest, zebra print and I tell her thank you, and of Course Briella got presents too she got some very cute clothes and a stuffed animal for inside he crib.

After presents we all have a nice family breakfast and then we go and lounge in the living room and watch Christmas movies for the day, just a relaxing family day together.
