Chapter 15: Surprise Surprise

Febuary 1st 2015

Hi guys! Well it's morning and I am 27 weeks pregnant and Emma is 36 weeks, *phone vibrates* "Mom! Emma is going into labor!" I get dressed as fast as possible and drive to her house, she's all packed so we hop into her mom's car and drive to the hospital.

We check in and grab a wheelchair and bring her to the room and the baby is literally coming, they have her lay on the bed and they check her cervix and she is 8 centimeters dialated, I hold her hand and the doctor informs us that the baby will be fine just a couple days extra in the nicu to make sure her breathing is fine. Few minutes later her cervix is 10 centimeters "Okay time to push babygirl you can do this" the doctor counts down as she pushes and then she breathes and goes again, the doctor says "here's the head! one more push!" she pushes again and he says "It's a girl!" and we both say "Aww Amirah!" and they hand her to Emma and she kisses her head and holds her hand, and they take her and weigh her and go clean her up she is 5 pounds 1 ounce, they clean her up and they let us see her for a few minutes and then she is put in the nicu and they help get the

placenta out and clean Emma up.

A nurse comes in and has Emma fill out all the information for Amirah and they say "Thank you" I say "Omg babygirl you did it! I knew you could!" "I'm so excited! Now we just gotta wait for Briella's arrival!"

Febuary 2nd 2015

They let Emma and I go see Amirah, and they let her hold her the nurse says "Well she is doing really well, her breathing is excellent, she'll get to come home tomorrow, congratulations" "thank you" Emma lets me hold her and I play with her fingers and kiss her forehead "Hi baby girl your beautiful just like your mommy"

We walk back to the room and they finally bring Emma some food and she eat's it really fast and then she falls asleep I whisper "I'm going to go home and get some sleep love you" my mom picks me up and I show her the pictures and tell her how much she weighs, I go up to my bed and pass out i'm so tired.

Febuary 3rd 2015

Today Emma is bringing her home, so I go with her mom to the hospital and Emma has her in the carseat in a very cute outfit and all the bags, I carry the baby out and her mom has the bags, we load the stuff and Amirah into the car and drive back to the house, when we get there the first thing Amirah does is cry so Emma takes her out of the carseat and gets her a bottle made and feeds her, after she's done, she burps here and then has her in her lap cradling her head "Babygirl your so tiny, I love you so much" I go and sit next to her and she lets me hold her and I get my baby cuddles then we lay her in the boppy since she is sleeping.
