I wake up from a very scary dream that I had lost the baby and I scream, Emma is next to me and she wakes up and says "Babygirl what's wrong? Are you ok?" "Yeah i'm ok just had a nightmare that I lost the baby" she hugs me and says "Aww well you didn't the baby is perfectly healthy". I am only 16 weeks so that is what had me worried because i'm still in the miscarriage risk, Emma is 24 weeks and is out of the risk.
November 13th 2014
Me and Emma get up for our day of classes in College, I wake up Emma and we run downstairs before were late, I pop in some waffles for the both of us, and we put the syrup and butter on the table, we pop them out before they burn and sit at the table and we eat Emma yells at her stomach I guess Amirah is kicking a lot. After we finish I grab her hand and we run upstairs to get dressed, I put one of my new maternity shirts on and so does Emma and then our new jeans.
When were dressed we go out to the car and we drive to the school, unfortunately we don't have classes together so we give each other a kiss and she walks off to her math class and I go to my science class, I walk up to my teacher and hand her note from my mom saying "Ali has a ultrasound today so she will be leaving early around 9:30" "Ok Ali thank you" I sit back down and put my hands on my tummy. The phone rings for me and my teacher picks it up and looks back at me and says "Ali your being dismissed" I grab my things and walk to the main office, Emma is there too and we meet up with my mom and we walk to the car.
When we get there we walk in and check in, then the nurse calls me in and I lay down and lift my shirt up and the nurse puts the gel on and she shows me the picture and then finds the gender, "Looks like a little girlie!" I look at my mom and Emma and say "Yay it's a girl!" she prints us some pictures and cleans my stomach off and I put my shirt down and say "Thank you" to the nurse and we leave the doctor's
We go back to the house and I tell everyone the name "I've been thinking of Briella I love it" "such a beautiful name Ali!" "I know right?!" I go into the living room and pick up Maddie and sit on the couch with her and she cuddles with me.
