Chapter 14: Preparing...

January 2nd 2015

Today is the day after New Year's Eve, I am 22 weeks and Emma is 32 weeks, on December 31st me and my family watched the ball drop and celebrated and then I called Emma and she was very excited too! Today me and Abby are hanging out, we're going to the movies to see Ouija, Emma is mad at me that i'm not taking her but I have to hang out with my sister too.

We get dressed and head out to the dollar store first for snacks, I grab some chocolate and a thing of flavored water, I don't want the baby's heartbeat to go to fast, Abby get's gummies and soda and we pay and head back to the car, when we get to the movies we hide the snacks in our purses and buy the tickets.

We head into the theater and the movie is just starting, during the whole movie I was jumping and hiding in Abby' s hair and she was laughing at me. At the end we walk out and man am I happy the movie is over, I have to pee so we walk into the bathroom and I go and then we go to our car and head back home.

When we get back Emma is there in my room and I kiss her saying "I missed you babygirl haven't seen you in like a week" I then hug her and we cuddle together "Hey Ali can I tell you something?" "Anything baby" "Well i'm nervous to push Amirah out" "Don't worry me and your mom will be there for you and i'll be holding your hand, you can do this, just like I know I can" Abby comes in and says "Ali I just cut myself on purpose" "What?!" I get up and run to her arm and there is cuts from her wrist up bleeding alot "Why the h*** did you do that?!" she pulls me out and says "I got jealous, I feel like she is the auntie and i'm not and your like always with her" "Listen whether you like it or not Briella has 3 aunties and I told you she will need you, if you don't want to be part of her life fine by me" "Fine Ali I am not your sister anymore and I don't want to be a part of that dumb baby's life" I walk away letting her clean her own cuts.

I walk back into the room crying and Emma says "Omg what happened?" "Abby said she was jealous of you, and I told her Briella will have 3 aunts whether she likes it or not and she said she won't be my sister anymore and she didn't want to be a part of Briella's life and she called her dumb" "Aww that's awful, well Briella is not dumb and it's her lose" "Emma you do know that Ali was moving out today right? She's 24 and out of college, my mom is letting her out and she found an apartment" Me and Emma hold hands and head downstairs, Abby come's down completely ignoring me with all her boxes, and she gives my mom a hug and walks out to the truck and drives away I mumble "Whatever."

January 3rd 2015

My mom has been in Abby's room cleaning it up and painting since she moved out yesterday, it's now a yellow color with white trim, it's our spare room, I go into Briella's room and sit in the chair and rub my stomach, Maddie runs in and I pick her up and I let her feel the baby kick and she smile's at me and I say that's your niece.
