"It's because you're here." The blonde winked. The raven haired boy blushed a crimson red. The two stayed in comfortable silence.

"You know how some people kiss at midnight during new year?" The raven head suddenly breaks the silence.

"10!"

The 1A class screams from outside.

"Yeah. Why do you ask?" The blonde's cheeks dust a pink while the raven haired's cheeks were a deep red.

The two boys lean in, getting closer and closer to each other.

The raven haired boy and the blonde boy are inches away from each other. Their hands intertwined.

"Happy New Year." The blonde whispers, making the raven head feel the hot breath on his lips. The same blonde then crashes their lips together, making the tow have a short, but sweet kiss. Once the two break apart, the raven head whispers too.

"Happy New Year."

Happy 2020 you sinful humans and happy New Year. I wrote this during Christmas, incase my family decides that we have to go somewhere to celebrate the New Year again. I've come far this year, slacking off and being lazy, having decent grades without even studying and even finishing a book (this one shot book ain't over though)! Now, let's say goodbye to the best decade ever and welcome the new generation of Fortnite dancers! Whoooooo.....
