"D-denki." Sero walked up to his best friend, Kaminari Denki. They had been best friends since they were 1. Now the two were already 6.

"Hanta, what's wrong?" Kaminari stepped closer.

"I'm moving." Sero held back tears threatening to fall.

"B-but why?" Kaminari wasn't trying to hold back tears. His best friend, who he thought he was going to be with forever, was moving away. Far away.

"Mommy and Daddy don't like you." Sero couldn't hold back the tears anymore and was now sobbing in Kaminari's arms.

"We'll see each other someday, right?" Kaminari wiped Sero's tears. Sero nodded and heard his parents call.

"Here. Don't forget me." Sero gave a strange object to Kaminari and ran off. Kaminari checked his hand to see the object. It was a silver ring, with the words 'Best' imprinted on it. Kaminari could only guess Sero had another ring with 'friends' on it.

9 years later.

It only took 3 years for Kaminari to give up and throw the ring under his bed. It only took another 1 year to forget about his best friend. It only took 5 more years and he was in U.A, the best hero school in existence.

Sero on the other hand never forgot. He kept photos of Kaminari in a journal, and he kept the ring on all those years.

The first day of school. Sero wondered how he got into a big school like U.A. he wasn't smart and he didn't have a useful quirk. He got reminded of that a lot, including his unattractiveness and how much of a loser he is. He wanted to stay in the shadows. Of course it never worked. He just hoped he would be left alone in U.A. Knowing his luck, he wasn't left alone, but it wasn't because of bullied or teachers. It was because there was a group of four who was trying too hard to have him in their group. Only three of them really tried. The fourth just told them to leave me alone everytime.
The names of the people in the so called 'Bakusquad' were, Ashido Mina, Kirishima Eijirou, Bakugou Katsuki and Kaminari Denki. He knew who Kaminari was, but he noticed that Kaminari didn't, so what was the point in trying?

"Come on! It'll be fun!" The girl with pink skin and hair tried.

"We'll go to crazy roller coaster!" Sero twisted his face into disgust and horror. "Or just stay in the milder ones." Kaminari butted in.

"You won't have to pay for anything! Bakuho-Bakugou here is loaded." The pink girl grinned at the ash blonde.

"Fine." Sero mumbled.

"Wait, what?" The pink alien wasn't believing her ears. Did she get something stuck there? She couldn't be hearing right.

"I said fine." Sero said louder.

"Really?!" The red haired boy smiled brightly. Not as brightly as Kaminari was though.

"What's your number?" Kaminari asked. Sero's face was heating up a bit, but he ignored it and raised his brow.

"I- We wanna add you to our group chat." Sero never agreed to be part of the squad, but some friends couldn't hurt. He's never had any. Expect one.

"Oh, right." Sero pulled out a piece of paper and wrote his number there. He handed the paper to Kaminari. The four students looked at the paper and took their phones out.

"No phones in class." Aizawa yelled sleepily.

"How the hell did he notice? He's literally sleeping." The spiky red head whispered to his boyfriend, the ash blonde. The four didn't put their phones away and proceeded to add Sero's number into their phones.
