II. In The Corridor
THE REST OF THE CLASSES SEEMED QUITE BORING, as Theresa's mind was elsewhere for each lesson. The two boys were Slytherin, who knew what they were planning this meeting for.
Dinner eventually rolled around, all the homework that Theresa had gained from each lesson had piled up. Nellie had left Theresa midway through the day to go and hang out with her other friends, people that she was closer to.
When Theresa walked into the Great Hall once again, she took the same seat she had in the morning. She piled spaghetti onto her plate, looking around the Great Hall, watching as more students flooded in to eat.
More so, the raven-haired Ravenclaw was looking out for Regulus Black and his friend.
Regulus and his friend walked in after everyone else had, the friend talking to Regulus as he continued to nod.
He seemed like he was thinking, almost like he was on autopilot, zoned out from the world around him, Theresa observed.
As they walked towards their table, Theresa looked back down at her food, adding some mashed potatoes to her plate.
Keeping an ear turned towards the boys, she ate her food. Their footsteps came closer and closer to her, Theresa's heart rate began to pick up.
They couldn't have known that it was her who was following them, they couldn't have seen her face or known her name for that matter.
The footsteps came to a stop, and she heard them sit down right behind her like they had done in the morning during breakfast.
Quickly turning her head around for a second, Theresa caught a glance of the boys. Both of them in the same positions they were in the morning, but neither was talking.
Finishing up the rest of her spaghetti and mashed potatoes, Theresa got up, looking over at the Slytherin table for a second or two.
Regulus had his head turned talking to one of his housemates, his body facing in Theresa's direction.
His eyes were looking around as his friend talked. Slowly, his eyes slowed, resting upon Theresa. He noticed her dark eyes had found his, neither of them looked away.
Staring back at him, Theresa's heartbeat began to pick up, she tore her gaze away from him, breaking the eye contact. Biting her lip, she walked out of the Great Hall.
Watching her, Regulus's eyes trailed behind Theresa.
There was something off about the girl, he knew it. He watched as the end of her robes disappeared from the Great Hall, bringing his mind back to the scene that had happened a couple of hours prior.
Looking away, Regulus turned back to his food, listening to his friends blabber on about something that he could care less about.
He played with his food for a bit, his mind replaying the scenario of the robes disappearing in the upper corridor.
