III. A Done Deal

TO THERESA'S LUCK, the following day was a weekend, it was the final week of school before some students would be departing the school to return to their families for the break.

She was unable to rest, so as soon as the sun was appearing in the sky, she was out of her bed. Getting ready for the day, Theresa grabbed the first clothing articles that came in hand and put them on.

The Ravenclaw Common Room was empty, for a change. Throwing her bag onto the glass table by the fire, the Ravenclaw girl worked away, working away at any assignments that would be due at any point during the week.

It was almost 11 o'clock when a couple of Ravenclaw students trickled into the common room and when Theresa had finished the majority of her homework.

Nellie was among the few who had awoken. Her gaze met Theresa, both giving each other a brief nod before Theresa picked up all her belongings and placed them back in her bag.

Down in the dungeons, Regulus's head slowly fell forward, causing him to jolt awake. His hair was out of order, and his blueish-gray eyes had bags under them.

Groaning, the boy got up, still in his Hogwarts uniform. To his luck, none of his roommates were in the dormitory, allowing for some peace.

He quickly changed, throwing on a button-up shirt, a tie, and some pants, he walked out of his room to be greeted with the empty common room.

His mind had let him feel calm for a few seconds before Regulus remembered why he had been awake in the first place.

That Ravenclaw girl.

A sneer formed on his face, remember the events that had occurred. His mind replayed the scene repeatedly, allowing Regulus to grow angrier by the second.

Picking up his pace, Regulus rushed to the Great Hall, he needed to find her again, and he just had to hope that she didn't go around telling everyone what happened.

Walking straight past the library, Regulus turned the corner.

Stepping into the library was a breath of fresh air for Theresa. No student or teacher was there besides the librarian, Madam Pince.

The comfortable couches were finally available, so the Ravenclaw took that to her advantage, sitting down.

Leaning her head against the back of the couch, Theresa immersed herself in her thoughts. Regulus Black was going to be after her now, she knew that.

He had caught her last night and was going to do everything in his power to get her to keep quiet.

Shaking her head slightly, Theresa looked down at her hands.

She thought that she had everything planned. Only... that it wasn't going to work now.

Listening to a possible Death Eater meeting wasn't what she had expected, she thought it was just a group of people who were planning some stupid prank or something.
