You don't talk in English to a man who only understands Spanish
You don't ring up a deaf man
You don't drink unless you're thirsty
Then why?
Why do you expect someone to accept love as it deems fit for you to give? What about the love that they moulded as apt as possible for you and then delivered it to you?
Why is it that you ask a heart to open up when its valves deny being wrenched open that way? What if the path to its door lies in a different way?
Why do you ask a leaking cup to pour? When it cannot hold its own self, why do you ask to be replenished? Why ask for care from someone who receives nothing and not bother to care about them too?
Why not give love and care when it is required? Why pour love when it isn't in dearth and push yourself away when they actually ask for love and care?
The paradoxical ways of man, I fail to understand. The emotional value of the heart, I overlook. For in this numbness, I'm yet another mount of flesh and blood that cannot nurture its dead heart alive.
