Ben is wide awake. His bloodshot eyes open looking straight to ceiling that feels suffocated him. Half an hour ago he woke up from a very bad dream, damped in sweat and chest pain. Breathing were like catching the shadow of his late grandfather. Theoretically impossible.

The dream tasted like a piece of reality. Ben can really tell how it taste, the bitterness run trough her tounge and his whole body. He was so scared.

He saw his unborn child in the arm of his mother. What a beautiful sight. Isn't it? Until he catched the way little Han Solo Jr. look into him. Ben's son resent his father, so much the hatred can be felt.

Ben finally taste his own medicine. Years of hatred he channeled for his own father at the end would be his own karma.

In the silent night, 24th of December he was crying on his bed without making any voices.

However, the strong bond between him and his wife cannot be forgotten. Even in sleep, Rey could feel her husband's sorrow.

Rey woke up from her slumber to found Ben lying beside her, with eyes closed and tears streaming down his cheek. "Ben.. what happened?" She tried to sit down as fast as she can. It caused her back pain she felt all day at 20 weeks of pregnancy.

"Honey, what's wrong?" Rey wipe Ben's tears off from his wet cheek. His skin is rough but it feels tender at the same time. Exaclty like him where the outside was so rough and evil, but beneath that Ben is only fragile boy with big scar from the past.

"Rey," Ben woke up and lunged his wife. He hugged her so tightly, he can feel her heart beating alongside his, he can feel the wave of bloodstream run heavily from her veins. Ben buried his head in her neck to comfort himself for a while. Just a little more time.

In the arms of his wife, Ben speak. "What if I can't be a good father, Rey? I failed miserably as a child, I am ungrateful son. What if he turned out to be exactly like me?" Ben whispered the last part.

His life was miserable indeed and it's not completely his fault. Yes, Rey's husband has killed both his own father and his uncle, moreover his mother died because of years of exhausted fighting the enemy that should be her family in the first place.

Still, young Ben has lonely life when his parents often busy fought for the galaxy, the betrayal from his uncle and years of groomeing from master manipulator like Snoke. Imagine the pain Ben's endured after he redeemed himself. Sweet fragile Ben.

"You won't be a bad father." Rey cupped her husband's face. Look him straight in the eyes, connecting the palpable force between them. "Listen Ben, you are a good person now. You learn to be and that is what really matters. Okay?"

"You are a good husband."

The last sentences from his wife shattered his wall. Now Ben was crying like unexpected rain. His heart was dryland of tatooine and Rey is the rain. She would cracked him open, went trough his heart like a bullet and it wasn't little bit hurt.

Rey were his rain and the sunshine at the same time.

"I love you. You are my sunshine in the darkness." The light in his life. He never knew what kind of life he would go trough if she wasn't here with him. He would rather die then staying alive without her.

Seeing Ben smiling is the most enthralling sight she ever witnessed. More beautiful than any planets she visited before in the galaxy. Even more delighted than jumping trough lightspeed.

The planned was to tell him tomorrow exactly in the Christmas morning under the luminous tree. She glanced at the clock above the mistletoe, it's two o'clock already. 25th December, their first Christmas as husband and wife.

"I have something to tell." Rey said unable to keep her wide smile. The smile that made Ben couldn't help but also feel the happiness. "It's a girl, Ben."
