It was late the evening and now Maya was just trying to fall asleep.
It's been way past three hours since Josh dropped her off and now she was just getting to a point where she is so frustrated with not just herself but also with her mother that she wants to scream.
She has no idea why anything got so far.
She had no idea where she stood with her mother and now there is a possibility that she could be taken away.
Maya rushes to her desk as soon as she hears her computer knowing who it is.
"Hey, Mom. How is it going in Ohio?" Maya asked.
"It's going good, Sweetheart. Your aunt is taking very good care of me. How are you?"
"Shawn found out. I didn't have a choice but to tell them what is really going on and now he wants to get me to social services. I can't think straight at the moment. But I do have some good news. You remember Josh?" Maya asked and Josh's nods.
"We have decided to date. It's still new but it looks like something got through to him. He wants to try out the whole dating thing," Maya said.
"I'm very happy for you, Baby Girl. I have to go. Merry Christmas," Katy said and Maya smiled.
"Merry Christmas Mom. Bye."
