"Alright, that takes care of that" the woman yawned with a stretch. She got off her chair and grabbed a hold of the running child, throwing him over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Once they reached the outside world, Brian was already waiting for them, leaning against tree half asleep.

"Ugh, useless as ever" Talia put the infant down before delivering a roundhouse kick to the man side.

The man flew at lightning speed into a nearby wagon, completely destroying it in the process. Dust filled the air forming a huge cloud that hid the victim from their sights.

After multiple seconds of silence groaning followed by a few coughs was heard.

As the dust started to settle, Brian's figure was slowly being revealed we're he laid in the rubble.

He was lying on some hay with some broken wooden planks scattered over and around him. Although this sounds bad, the condition of his body was in an even worse state. For example his left arm was bended the wrong way, there was a piece of wood sticking through his lower left abdomen, a deep cut stretching from his chin to right below his right eye caused by one of the screws that kept the wagon together.

His right foot was missing and he had a hole in his chest, inches from his heart.

"Hmmm... It feels like I forgot something..." thats when realization hit Talia like a truck, "OH SHIT! Soma look away! You were not supposed to see that!!"

She covered the boy's eyes in hope that it would minimize the damage.

And that's when a voice spoke up, "Jeez you're even more evil than I thought Tali. Now you've ruined the boy for sure ha ha ha ha!" the once numb body sat up straight with very little difficulty.

The titan glared at Brian as he got up. The man took in his own appearance, "TALI!!!!" he turned toward her with a deadly glare, "this was my favorite pair of clothes!" he cried.

Brian attempted to stand up but failed to do so due to the fact of missing a foot causing him to fall forward. Talia stated panicking again when she looked down at the boy as saw him staring blankly at all the blood.

"Soma I—"

"Hey, has anyone seen my foot?" the man called out as he crawled around.

The boy untangled the titan's arms around him and walked over to a chunk of meat lying in a puddle of crimson liquid. It just so happened yo be the missing foot.

He didn't want to be prince Charming and return Cinderella's slipper but it couldn't be helped. So when he crouched down to pick it up, his hand touched some of the blood.

"Cold?"

But it's fresh. How can it be cold?

After just shrugging it off he ran towards the man and handed it to him. Brain stared blankly at the him, mimicking the boy's expression before burst into laughter.

Was it something I said?

Talia suddenly appeared right behind Brian and gave him one hell of a slap on the back of his head. He cringed and rubbed the spot where he was hit as he hissed in pain, "Ok ok, jeez. I'm sorry" he got up onto both his feet and grabbed his sword that was still leaning against the tree.

...

"Rolenzi Amano, known for her sudden success in the black market. Rumer has it that she murders men in her sleep" Brian chuckled, shaking his head sideways, "what a bunch of crap. Born on the 29th of the 10th month—also known as the last month of the year. Raised in a poor household, she grew to like the taste of blood since cannibalism was the only way to survive at that time. Want to know what she sells on the black market?".

"If you're going to keep staring at me in hopes of a reply, it's futile" the man's smirk disappeared with disappointment, he groaned and mumbled as he averted his gaze back toward the paper in his hand.

"She sells the organs of children," and with that he crumbled the paper up and stuffed it in his pocket, "makes me sick".

"No intel on where she lives? An address? Anything?," Brian shook his head, "oh well. Guess we just got to catch her before she leaves the marked area" Talia sighed before giving Brian the look.

Suddenly the man was full of life again and basically jumped around like a little kid. Taking out one of his throwing knives, he aimed at one of the men accompanying the target, "I love it when you give me that look".

"Less talking, more throwing"

He chuckled but did as he's told. The knife flew, cutting through the air with a slight whistle and hit the guy right in the back. He stumbled a few steps before finally giving in.

The second his body came in contact with the ground, Brian already threw the next knife. This continued for the next two men. Once all men were down Talia moved out of their hiding spot, which was actually just up in a tree, and slowly approached the woman.

The woman finally stopped walking and turned around, not even looking at her fallen comrades, "Hmmm, look at what the cat dragged in. Talia Olind"

Hey!
I'm back.
Anyone miss me?
No?

Well good for you. Anyway, here's another chapter and yes I know it's short.

I'll try and make the next one longer. So suffer from the semi cliffhanger...
