I would like to say merry Christmas to everyone and have a terrific day! If it's not Christmas I still hope you have a fantastic day! Enjoy

A whistling sound travels pass me as I turn around and see nothing but pitch black. I take a few steps back feeling uneasy of where I am, being basically blind. Before I knew it my back right foot slipped down something and I was falling into the abyss.

I screamed as I felt wind fly past me. But instead of breaking every single bone, I landed without a scratch as if I fell on a cushion. I didn't wait for something as I stood up defensively on the firm black ground as the whistle sound followed me down from above.

"Hello... Fugi" a voice whispered. It wasn't a very pleasant voice, it had a hint of maliciousness as I felt shivers run down my back. I turned around to see if anything was behind me and to my disbelief I saw something creeping out of the dark slowly but stopped.

"Hello... Fugi" the thing repeated again from its direction. My eyes stayed focused on what looked like a leg that I could see out of the dark now. It had black spots on it and looked like it had yellow-ish fur.

"Wh-o are yo-u?" I stuttered out. My eyes were threatening to spill from overwhelming anxiety building up in me. "You will know in due time," that's when the paw retreated into the darkness rapidly and I awoke with a cold sweat.

I noticed I slept longer than usual but I wasn't too worried about time right now. 'Who or what was that thing' my spine still tingled ever so slightly from the frightening experience. 'What did it mean by I'll know in due time.'

My face twisted up in fear hoping it was just a intense nightmare. I used my arm to wipe the sweat of my face and stood up. I stretched my back hearing a satisfying crack and gave a little yawn. 'Ray must be out helping Minx again.'

I've been noticing he has been gone for the past few days to help Minx. Weird. I sighed wondering what to do, boredom filling inside of me when suddenly a idea clicked. I ran out of the tree jumping off the ledge making a loud thud on the dirt ground with dust rising, I sprinted of into the forest fast.

I smiled running through the forest getting this little adrenaline pump, leaping over tree branches and rocks. After about three minutes of sprinting I was at the pond of tulips next to the homes of my friends.

I slowed my pace to a jog and went searching for a certain somebody. Then I heard a noise from a tree above, I looked up and saw a huge hole. 'Must be somebody's home' I keep walking slowly. "I'm fine!" A voice exclaimed in the tree.

I stopped abruptly and looked up listening to the conversation. "I don't care you can't be going around acting carelessly like that!" Scowled a feminine voice. I sat close to the tree trunk interested in who the culprit is to the 'careless acts.'

"But Fugi did it so why can't I!" Yelled a high pitch voice. 'I did what?' Now I am listening very carefully. What seemed to be the feminine voice sighed. "Fugi.... is older so he can do what he wants, you though are still just a young child."

"Okay, Okay I won't do it again Armani, I'm sorry," apologised the other. "Hey don't be sad I'm just looking out for you, so you don't get hurt Remi," hushed Armani. Silence then came as I heard rustling above. I decided to hide behind the trunk at the back instead of below the entrance to not be seen.

Soon enough I saw Armani jump out and walk over to another tree and enter. I swiftly took this as my chance to meet Remi and climbed up the tree inside. When finally in I looked outside just to make sure no one saw me.

"FUGI!!!" Shouted Remi. I turned my head surprised by the loud welcome. "Shhhhhh!" I shushed the young fox. He just closed his mouth and smiled cheekily. "Why are you here?" He gleamed. "Well I came to see my most energetic friend of course," I laughed.

He just kept smiling up at me with admiration twinkling in his eyes. "What, is there something on my face?" I teased. "Oh No No No.... I'm just curious about something," he whispered the last part but I heard. I just smiled warmly. "What's on your mind kid?"

He looked up nervously but slowly opened his mouth. "Could.... COULD I TAG ALONG WITH YOU WITH YOUR FOREST ADVENTURES YOU LOOKED SO COOL JUMPING ACROSS THAT HUGE CRACK!?" Remi shrieked with excitement. "Shhhhhh!" I silenced him.

I looked into his eyes and smirked at his eagerness. "Sure thing Remi But no dangerous stuff." He silently cheered with victory running all over the inside of the tree and jumping off of the wooden walls. I would have said I was impressed by his energy and flexibility if I wasn't brought out of my thoughts from hearing footsteps nearing outside.

I cursed under my breath silently as Remi stopped and drooped one of his ears in curiosity while eyeing me seriously. "What does shi-" He was cut of with my claw covering his mouth gently but fast. I looked at him as if saying to him to 'not say another word.'

He nodded his head in acknowledgment and just looked at me questionably again. I pointed to outside as he perked up just realising that someone was coming closer to us. That's when he removed my claw hastily and ran out of the tree.

I swear he was as fast as lightning, REALLY!!! Because before I could grab him he was gone..... "Ahh! Child! Don't scare me like that!" Shouted what I believe was Armani outside. "Oh! Sorry Armani I didn't hear you!" Replied the young boy. I heard a soft sigh as footsteps came closer.

Panic rose in me as sweat started dripping down from my forehead. "Wait! Armani I need to show you something urgently!" Yelled Remi. "I'm busy Remi," answered Armani annoyed. I held my breath as I only waited to be caught. "Please!" I heard Remi beg pleadingly.

A soft sigh came from outside. "Fine just... be quick little one." I could feel my blood pressure lower as I risked a peak outside. I saw Armani following Remi to another tree away from me. Remi glanced at me smugly but quickly looked back at Armani speaking to her while she followed behind.

When I saw that they were far enough to not see me I jumped out and made a dash back home. I was panting as I dragged myself my final steps to the bottom of my home. My gaze looked up as I climbed up but I came back to no Ray home.

I looked around to be certain but after checking, he still wasn't here. I flopped down to my bedding area and rested with my head placed on top of my arms. I waited for what felt like hours, worry flaming inside me until Ray entered tired and exhausted.

I jumped up at his arrival and ran over to check on him. "Ray! Why are you so tired! And why are you coming home so late!" I yelled panicked. He just looked up briefly and waved it off with his hand. I scoffed annoyed, he wasn't answering but that didn't bother me to much since his state was too bad to argue, for now.

I helped Ray over to where he sleeps, a bunch of soft green leaves placed on a flat part of wood. As soon as he laid down he was fast asleep. I examined him making sure he wasn't injured. When I was happy with his healthy state I made my way back to my bedding area and fell into a light sleep.

"Hello... Fugi."
