*wake me uuuup when it's all oooover, when I'm wiser and..*
As soon as I can, I put my alarm clock off. Why did I set it again? Oh, right. Today is my first day of high school.
My dad told me there was a school bus that Stefan and I had to catch to go to school. The school bus came at 8:25 AM, at the corner of our street.

Stefan and I walked to the corner at the end of our street. We were a bit early, it was only 8:10.
"So, what's your first class, Stefan?"
"I think it was world history, gosh I hate world history." "Oh my gosh there is the bus! It's exactly like the ones you always see in movies!" Stefan laughs, "Yeah, it is."
We get into the bus, and take two seats next to eachother, somewhere in the front of the bus.

The school is huge, just like our house, all the cars, and some of the people here. How am I ever going to find my classes?!
"Well, good luck with your first day, Stef," I say.
"Thanks, you too! See you at home." Stefan waves at me, and walks away. Now I'm alone in this huge school full of American people I don't know, and actually don't even want to know. I just want to get back to England..
*bzzzzz*
That was the school bell, shit.. I have to find my class!! Let's see.. My first class is English. When I come into my class, everyone is already there.
"Hey, we have a new one!", someone yells. "Come sit over here, newbie!", someone else says.
The teacher tells me to sit next to a girl who looks a bit shy. "Hey, my name is Sarah, I'm new at this school. I used to live in England."
The girl looks up from her phone, and says "Hi, my name is Ann, and yeah.. Uhm.."
"Hi Ann," I say.
After a few hours, lunch break starts. I've read on the internet, that this break lasts for one and a half hour. I walk into the lunch room, and I see Stefan sitting with a big group of guys and girls, laughing and chatting.
I walk through the lunch room, looking at tables, and the people who sit there. I don't see anyone I know, so I go to the bathroom to have lunch there, all by myself. This is awful. I feel like I'm a total nerd without friends.

"Sweetie!! You're home! How was your first day of school?", my mom asks.
"Hm, it was fine." I lied. It wasn't fine at all. I spent both of my breaks alone on the toilet, knowing that my brother and all the other people were having a great time. I want to go back to England, back to Kate and my other friends.
