Finally. My dad fixed the wifi in our house. I have to FaceTime Kate right now!!
"Kate? Kate are you there?"
Kate's face appears on my iPad screen. I'm so happy to see her face again, I could litterally scream.
"Sarah!!! Where have you been for the past three weeks? You haven't checked your Whatsapp, FaceTime, and your iMessage..." Kate looks a bit concerned.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, my dad just installed the wifi connection at our house today."
"Oh, okay. Well, I'm glad you have wifi now! So, tell me, how is America?"
Ugh, I hate telling this to her, "Actually, it's pretty awful. I've gone to school for two weeks now, and I don't even have friends.. Stefan has lots of friends he hangs out with, and sits with during lunch break, but I just.." I start crying. I haven't cried that much for the past few weeks, but suddenly it all comes out.
"Awww Sarah.." Kate looks even more concerned now. "I wish you were here in England. Everything has become so different since you left."
"I wish I could be with you, in England."
Kate smiles. "Yeah me too. You should buy a ticket to England for your next school break, haha!"
"Hahaha, I wish I could do that." I smile. Actually, why can't I just buy a ticket? Why can't I just go to England this upcoming break?
I told Kate my idea, and she loved it. "Sarah! That idea is perfect! I could pick you up from the airport, and you could stay at my place!"
So I bought the tickets to go to England. Actually it was really easy. I've seen my dad doing it so many times. My parents even gave me money to book the tickets.I told my parents I was going on an American camp, with some American friends. Ha, can't believe they believed me. I do feel bad for lying to Stefan.. But I'm sure he'd stop me if he knew what I was really going to do.
A week later, I was at the airport, waiting for my flight. I already went through customs. Then I saw Isabelle, her children and Isabelle's husband. Actually, I don't even know his name.
"Shit, I hope they don't see me, they would stop me from going for sure.." I whispered to myself.
"SARAH! Oh my gosh, is that you? What a coincidence!" So, Isabelle saw me. Shit.
"Hi guys.." I say.
"So Sarah, what are you doing here? Without parents, all alone?" Isabelle's husband says.
"Uhm.." Oh shit they'll never believe me.. "Well, I'm going to an American camp, with uhm.. A friend."
"Oh how nice! So, where is your friend? Derek has his own airplane, and we could totally drop you guys off at your destination!" Oh, so his name is Derek. Wait what? Shit, they can't bring me.
"No thanks, we're fine."
"Wait, no it's not fine. Here, give me your ticket, we can cancel your flight."
Isabelle grabs my ticket. "Wait, what?! You're going to Éngland?!"
Shit. I grab my ticket back, and quickly say "Sorry, I have to go, enjoy your holiday. Oh, and my parents know I'll be in England, so trust me, you don't have to let them know.""Hello. Show me your passport."
"Here it is." I hope they don't think I'm too young..
"Okay, you can get on the plane. Seat 23A."
This man sitting next to me is so big. Gosh, this is annoying.
Actually, I feel so guilty about lying. Should I get off the plane?
Yes. Of course I should. I can't do this. This was a ridiculous idea.
I grab my bag as soon as I can, and run to the exit of the plane. Shit, it's closed.
"Hello?! Can someone please open this door?!! I have to get out!!" A flight attendant approaches me and tells me to go back to my seat. She grabs my arm and pushes me into my seat.
Okay. I'm stuck in this plane. I have no choice but going to England.
