Two Idiots [Completed] ✅

2 - This is not happening!

You've got to be fucking kidding me! This is not fucking happening!

Jung Hoseok droned on about their new project and Jin had been grouped to work with both Taehyung and Jungkook. At least he was saved from complete insanity by having Jimin on his team as well.

Taehyung and Jungkook smirked. This was their chance. They would be working closely with Jin. He couldn't escape them now.

The two idiots made a pact of sorts between them. They had realised, well finally, that their tried and trusted methods had failed them dismally all these years. They played a game of kai, bai, bo to decide who would get first dibs on wooing Jin. And the terms were that the other would completely back off while they had their turn.

Taehyung won the first round and he was elated. He had exactly 2 days for his turn. Jungkook had the next 2. And on the 5th day, they would ask Jin to make his decision, since the project would last for 5 days in total.

All bets were off and they could do anything to try and woo Jin. The other could not object neither could they interfere in the outcome. Jin was completely oblivious of all their plans.

But Hoseok wasn't. Actually, he was the one that had suggested this method, seeing as how the two idiots needed help to finally make Jin theirs.

"Hey Jin! Hold up, will you?!" Taehyung called, as they exited the meeting room.

Jin groaned inwardly. "What do you want?" He asked through gritted teeth.

"I was kind of hoping that maybe you and I could go out for a drink? Just a simple, no strings attached drink after work at a bar populated by other people so you should be safe. What do you say? I promise I won't try anything."

Seokjin considered this and found no catch which was concerning. But he tried to be nice and accepted.

"Just one drink and that's it! No funny business!" He warned.

Taehyung was jumping inwardly but he remained calm. "One drink, possibly two. But that's it! I promise I won't do anything to make you feel uncomfortable."

"And where will your other half be? I hope he won't be lurking around!" Jin eyed Taehyung suspiciously.

"I promise he won't be anywhere near us. It's just a friendly drink. So I'll meet you down at the 45th street bar?"

"Yeah...sure. After work then."

Taehyung smiled and went to his workstation, leaving a confused Jin in his wake. What is he planning? I don't trust him not to make a move on me!

For the rest of the day neither one of the two idiots bothered him. This added more to his suspicions. By the afternoon when it was time to leave, Seokjin was convinced there was a conspiracy surrounding their new behaviour and he wasn't going to stand for it.

He made his way to the bar and found Taehyung already there, waving to him from a barstool. Interesting...he hadn't opted for a booth or a private table.

"I'll have a beer please," he told the barman.

"You made it! Hey thanks for coming." Taehyung said happily.

"Yeah...I guess." He took out money to pay for his drink but Taehyung stopped him.

"Put that away. It's my treat! I mean, I did invite you."

"Okay." Jin took a sip. Soon they were having a nice and easy conversation. None of the usual annoying stuff. By the third drink, Jin was actually enjoying Taehyung's company.

When he ordered a fourth drink, Taehyung put his hand up.

"No way! You've had enough. You better head on home before you complain that I forced you to have more to drink!"

Jin laughed lightly. He had actually had a good time tonight. Taehyung was funny and sweet, things that he hadn't known about him before. As he made his way back to his apartment alone, Jin decided that Taehyung wasn't such a bad guy afterall.

The next day at the office proved to be another surprise. Taehyung was once again sweet and funny, not smothering like his normal self. When he asked Jin out to dinner that night, he readily accepted.

Once again, he met him at the restaurant. It was a nice, fancy place. Seokjin found himself settling easily into conversation with Taehyung. The food was good and the atmosphere and the ambience of the place conspired Jin to feel relaxed and happy in his company.

By the end of the evening, when Taehyung insisted on dropping Jin off at his house, he expected him to kiss him but that never happened and Jin was actually disappointed. So he invited Taehyung for a nightcap.

Taehyung considered it and eventually relented. Seokjin was happy. He made them two cups of coffee and they settled on the couch, watching a kdrama about two star-crossed lovers. When Taehyung leaned in to kiss Jin goodnight, he didn't resist. The kiss was short and chaste, leaving Jin wanting more.

He fell asleep happily and content. The next day when Jungkook quietly helped him out at the copier, Jin found himself gazing into his warm eyes. When he shyly asked Jin for a coffee date, he readily accepted.

Seokjin realised that Jungkook had the cutest bunny smile that he had ever seen. It was sweet and endearing. When they stepped out into the cold day to grab their coffees, Jin didn't repell himself from Jungkook's warm embrace. He leaned into him as they walked the three blocks to the coffee shop, satisfied in his embrace.

They spoke of everything and anything and once again, Jin found that he was really comfortable around Jungkook. Jungkook held his hand and walked back to work, promising to take Jin out for dinner the following evening. Seokjin decided that he looked forward to it.

Jungkook was quiet, shy, and so cute. Seokjin just wanted to squeeze his cheeks. He took Jin out to a Korean barbecue and it was amazing. Jin loves his food and considering the great company he had with Jungkook, he enjoyed the evening thoroughly.

Once again, he felt that he wanted Jungkook to kiss him and he happily leaned into the kiss when it was time to call it a night. The next day, Jin skipped into the office, and was called into an emergency meeting in the conference room, only to find his recruitment officer and the two idiots waiting for him.
