(This is the one time I'm breaking from my order. The next chapter will be an SNO. But I have to make this a sequel to the last chapter.)

Bryan crouched in a few rose bushes by the docks, waiting to corner Jake. It was a primitive method and one that he wouldn't use unless he was desperate. But he was desperate. He needed to corner Jake and make things right. He had avoided him ever since their fight, and the one time he had found him, he had just run away! This was the only way he was going to apologize for his horrible words.

After about half an hour waiting in the bush, Bryan was just about to give up and try his luck elsewhere when he heard shoes clattering on the wet rocks and dirt. Sure enough, it was Jake, most likely heading to his undersea base. It was now or never. Bryan jumped out, tackled Jake and they landed with a thud on the pathway. Mud splattered on Bryan's clothes and wings, but for once, he didn't care.

Jake struggled for a few seconds, but Bryan pinned him down and enveloped him in his wings, trapping him.

"Bryan!" Jake yelled. "Get- off!"

"Not until you hear me out."

"What? Just going to yell at me again? Call me a selfish jerk, like last time?"

"No, not at all. Jake, I want to make up."

Jake stared at him. "W-What? B-But you said-"

"I wanted to break up with you, I know. Jake, the reason I said those things were, I don't know, to be honest. I was angry, I wasn't thinking, and I didn't have to right to say things like that. I did make the wrong decision by letting Panda do that to me. I-"

"Shut up, will you?" Jake interrupted.

" Are you still mad?" Bryan asked shyly.

"No, you idiot. I want to apologize too. I was irrational and-"

"Jakey~Poo, you don't need to apologize for anything. It's my fault and only my fault."

"You're just saying that to make me get back with you, aren't you?" Jake guessed.

"Is it working?"

"It already has."

Jake hugged Bryan, kissed his forehead, and gave a quick wink. Bryan sighed in relief and contentment. He was eternally grateful that Jake had forgiven him.

But, soon enough, he would betray Jake again, in the worst way possible.
