Erza walked down the halls, cautious in every way. She checked every corner before turning, scanned every hall before walking. The sweat on her face made her glasses slide down. She pushed them back up; checked that the next corner was clear. Just as she was about to turn it, a muscular arms was slung around her shoulders.

The air of a dark chuckle swayed strands of her hair. She froze, petrified. "Well, well, didn't think you could run from me that easily did you miss Scarlet?"

She whimpered something as his little group surrounded her. "What was that? I couldn't hear you!" Her small frame trembled beneath his arm. He looked like he delighted in her fear.

"N-no," she squeaked. He frowned, aggravated by her response. It was one of fear and not the truth. He hated liars.

"You're lying to me, aren't you?" He roughly gripped her face with one hand. He made her look him in the eyes. He saw the tears in her eyes. He knew she was holding them back. But he didn't want them to spill. His gang though, wanted them to run like rivers. He only wanted to show her that he was the one with the power and that she was to be beneath him.

She gave a strangled whimper. "I asked you a question!"

She nodded this time, his fingers rough grip hurting the skin of her cheeks. He released her face with a shove of his hand, knocking her into one of his lap dogs. Fearful she looked up. Eric was his real name, but he insisted people call him Cobra. And he gave a nasty smirk her way. Her very eyes shook.

"Talk to her about lying will ya?" Jellal yelled over his shoulder as he walked to the doors of the building.

Angel, Sorano really, gave her own evil smirk. Making the first move by knocking Erza's books out her hands. The pages and folders scattered across the hall. Now that their boss was gone, they could have their share of fun. There was no saving her. It was after school and club activities were just starting. They weren't near one, so no one would come to save her. She did appliance for a gaming club, but the school declined her offer. Saying a reading club was far more possible since there were more students in the library than on their computers.

Angel laughed. Some of the boys picked up her notes and tore them apart. Cobra laughed maniacally. "You're scared aren't you?"

Quickly realizing she was still in front of him she back away, eyes flooded with tears she prevented from spilling. She stepped back until her back was against the lockers. They had her cornered now, a good semi circle around her. All of them cackled.

Erza fell to her knees. Angel stepped forward again. She raised a hand.

Slap!

It was a hard, vibrant smack to her face. A tear escaped Erza at the way it stung. Angel laughed. "Not so tough now, are we?! Look at you! You're pathetic!"

She pressed a foot beside her head on the the locker. Erza slumped. What hope did she have? This was an everyday fiasco. Not the beatings, but name calling definitely.

"Remember this the next time you think of defying us!" Her tone was rough, more powerful. She raised her hand again and slapped Erza back and forth a few times before beginning to use her legs. She was called a different name with every blow.

After that, Erza sat there, beaten. Her face, her arms and legs stung. Her right cheek was a bit scratched open from Sorano's long nails. Across the rest of her body, bruises began forming from were she was hit, kicked and punched.

The boys only stood back and watched the torture. They couldn't attack because they'd get in trouble. That's why the leave Sorano to do the dirty work. Sorano was also a teachers' pet, which worked in their favor.
