Sylvertica Forest. I was looking for a book to find more information about the forest. Nakakita rin ako ng mga libro tungkol sa mga magical creatures. Nabasa ko na ang ilan dito at may kaunting kaalaman na ako dahil sa mga dinadalang libro sakin ni Kai pero wala akong kaalam tungkol sa gubat na sinabi sakin ng Headmistress.

"The Forest... Wields different kinds of energy," mahinang basa ko. "A lot of people tried to destroy the forest, but it remains. It killed a lot of people more."

Ang mga sumunod na pahina ay hindi naman sinabi kung nasaan ang gubat. Kahit din malaman ko, hindi ko kabisado ang mga lugar ng mundong 'to. The Headmistress told me about the forest, but she didn't allow me to go there and look for the person she told me about. Sinabi ni Headmistress na delikado. She knew that I have no magical powers. She knew that I am not a student who could wield magic. However, she still wanted me to be a student here which made a little part of me honored.

I still don't know how she knew that I was inside my mother's womb for twenty years. Did she meet her before? Or... Was she watching me already before? Si Headmistress... Kung oo, matagal na talaga niya akong hinihintay rito sa Academy?

"We have been there once, pero ayoko na rin bumalik doon, Amara," Danayah said. "Kung ano man ang inaakala mong normal na gubat lang, mali ka. That's not just a forest. It kills people, Amara. Nakakatakot at iba ang pakiramdam kapag nakapasok ka na sa loob.''

Kung ganon, bakit nakatira doon ang sinasabi ni Headmistress? Bakit babanggitin sa'kin ni Headmistress ang lugar na 'yon kung hindi rin pala ako pwede pumunta? What is her reason?

I asked her if she could show me the way to the forest, but she disagreed. "No, Amara. I really do not want to tell you. Hindi pa kita ganun kakilala pero may feeling ako na kapag nalaman mo, pupunta ka. I can't risk it.''

I gave up. Alam kong hindi sasabihin sa'kin ni Danayah ang daan kahit anong pilit ko. Napailing na lamang ako ako at dumiretso sa opisina ng Headmistress upang siya muli ang tanungin ko tungkol dito, kahit na alam kong hindi niya pa rin ako sasagutin. She can't make me curious and leave me hanging.

When I knocked on the door of her office, no one responded. My forehead creases. Is she not here? I didn't see her in the hall when we were eating breakfast. Where is the headmistress? Is she hiding from me?

I shook my head when Ryzien came into my head. Why did I think of him?! He is the only person left that I knew! Kai is nowhere to be found. Rei and Tyron are not here. Headmistress is not here, either. Si Leiah? Oh gosh, she doesn't even seems to like me. Why would she even waste her time to answer my stupid questions or help me? Kahit si Sir Vince. I will never even try to ask him.

Umiling ako. No. I will never talk to Ryzien again. I would rather look for it myself than asking for his help.

I can't focus. Hindi ako makakinig nang mabuti sa itinuturo sa kanila. I'm also still adjusting.

Ang isip ko ay walang ibang laman kundi kung paano ako makakapunta sa gubat na 'yon. I really need to go there. I need to find that person. Maybe... Just maybe... She can give me something I can use. The knowledge I need to have.

"Amara, for now, I want you to watch the others use their magic against each other," the teacher said, like she knew that I was secretly hiding that I do not have any magical powers.
