Nick Jonas's New Assistant

Part Seventeen

We were ending the first month of the tour today (leaving us one more month to go before the end of tour) and we have our biggest show so far coming up. We are in New York, New York, in the biggest venue in the city and the show is completely sold out. We are in New York 2 days before the show because Nick has a lot of press he can do here. We have pretty much no free time between TV and magazine interviews, promotion parties, and photoshoots.

We had parked the bus at around 7am this morning and I was already up answering emails and making phone calls. I had to make sure we had a ride everywhere and all the times were set in stone for everything. It is nothing I haven't done before, but it is definitely the biggest amount of things that I have had to make sure were going to go smoothly in such a short amount of time. I have definitely been in assistant mode more than I have been in girlfriend mode. It has been only two weeks since everything went down with Nick, and while they have been some of the best weeks of my life, I still have a very important job to do, and after we were outed I need to be on my best game for Paul so he doesn't have any excuse to fire me at all. The stress is definitely piling up a bit, especially since tour itself is such a big undertaking but again, I have a job to do so despite how stressed I am, I can't let it get to me.

It's 9:00am and I am sitting at the table on the bus drinking some coffee, emailing the 2 photographers we will be seeing the next 2 days. Nick and I have to leave here at 10 so I gently close my laptop and get up to head to his room, needing to wake him up so he can get ready for the day. I quietly make my way to his bedroom, not wanting to wake the boys in the bunk beds as I pass. I open the door slowly and smile when I see him sleeping soundly in bed, he looks so cute.

I quietly make my way over to him before placing my hand on his shoulder, gently wiggling him around to wake him. I hear him groan a bit at me.

"Nick, it's time to wake up."

As soon as the words leave my mouth I feel his strong arms wrapping themselves around me and I squeal as I am lifted off of the ground and on top of Nick. Laughing softly as his lips press sweet kisses all over my face and neck.

"Babe, come on, we have to get going soooon" I say in between happy filled giggles.

One last kiss lands on my lips before I am gently and playfully rolled off of Nick and onto the other side of the bed.

"Fine, fine, I am getting up."

"Thank you" I say sweetly, leaning over to give him one more kiss before rolling myself off the bed and heading out of the room to get some more work done.

10am rolls around very quickly and Nick and I are in the car and off to our first meeting of the day. We are sitting in the back of the car and I have my planner for the day open in front of me.

"Okay, this meeting we are heading to is an interview with one of the biggest magazines in New York, it's just a typical interview, nothing crazy. We finish that around 11:30 then we have a lunch meeting with the owner of tonight's venue. That is just more of a casual thing, he wanted to meet you, and his daughter is a huge fan, so I guess she is coming along. Then, at 2 we have to meet with the photographer for the magazine you are about to interview at, so they have pictures for that. We will be there until about 4:30 and then we leave and go straight to a dinner meeting with Paul to go over everything we are doing today. We have a small gap after dinner and the album release party we have to go to at 8:30, so I figured we can get ready between dinner and when we need to leave. How's that all sound?"

Once I finish reading over today's events I look at Nick. He is looking at me like a just spoke a completely different language to him. He is like that for a few seconds before he laughs softly and nods his head.
