Ignore shikamaru? That was going to be a tough job considering that he would be literally living in the same house as you for a couple of days.

"I can't make an exact promise to that Kashi."

You sigh, most of the night you lay in your bed restless. No matter how much you had tossed and turned, you couldn't get kakashis dissatisfied facial expression that he gave you right before he left out of your mind.

"I'm a jealous man y/n. I really don't like sharing, just remember that."

You toss one more time into your right side, squeezing your eyes closed. You would get some sleep whether your mind liked it or not.

"Since Y/N is unable to contribute to your mission we have decided to provide you with a fill in shinobi."

The third begins, he takes a short drag off of his pipe while looking directly into kakashi's eyes.

Just the sound of your name coming out of the third hokage's mouth makes kakashi tense up.

He couldn't get you off of his mind. All he could think about had been your beautiful smile. Your eyes, hair, and anything else physically possible. He had just been completely obsessed with you.

Despite this, kakashi lets a soft grin spread across his hidden features. Though the third had been unaware of this because of his mask, he began to grin as well.

"Well who is the new member, I can't wait to introduce them to team seven."

Kakashi whispers lightly before closing his visible eye in delight.

To this the third hokage lets a small giggle escape his lips followed by another puff of smoke exiting his nostrils.

"Her name is Mina, she is currently an medicinal ninja that works in the hospital, but I'm sure you will find good use in her."

He clears his throat before continuing.

"She has stunning abilities with tiajutsu as well as being able to heal the wounded."

He lets a soft sigh escape his lips before looking over kakashi's awkward body language.

She's an expert with Tia-jutsu and medical treatment, she could come in handy.

Kakashi lets a small delighted giggle escape his lips before closing his visible eye lightly, the thought of you not being around him didn't seem right, but it had been nice seeing as though he hadn't had a medical ninja in his group yet.

He nods silently, allowing the third hokage to call the girl in to meet him.

"Are you okay Y/N, you haven't touched your breakfast.. that's not like you."

Asuma whispers while looking over your exhausted body that had been practically slumped over your bowl.

You could feel Ino, shikamaru, and Chōji's eyes locked on your features, causing you to instantly nod your head slowly.

You had began feeling sick over what had happened the night before.

How could you just ignore shikamaru when he had been literally sitting right at the other table from yourself?.

"Was it the sake?"
