Strange stormed into the Loki's room all sweaty and panting from the nightmare. "You bastard, don't think for a second that you won. This is the beginning of the war. I swear, I'm gonna make your life a hell." Loki watched the shouting sorcerer, reading a book with a smirk of satisfaction. When Strange finished his monologue, Loki looked up at Strange and asked with fake politeness: "How was your night?" "Shut up" Strange scoffed and left Loki's room, slamming hard the door.

And the war began, the god tricking the sorcerer and the sorcerer returning his "favours". First, there were just smaller jokes as Loki moving with furniture in Strange's room while he was sleeping and making him need to go to the toilet, honestly Strange almost didn't survive the journey out of his room, injuring his ankle quite badly. During the weeks, things escalated and for the team, it was impossible to ignore their constant mocking and ridiculing each other like it was the only for them to communicate.

When Strange left a polecat in Loki's room, all had to leave the compound for a few days because of the unbearable reek, Loki himself smelled stinky for next week, staying in his room unless he got rid of the odour, Sam and Wanda decided to talk with them. It surprisingly worked, the two stopped and hadn't talked or even looked at each other for days. However, the whole team felt the weird tension, it was like a silence before a storm. And they were right.

It was a day before the medicine conference Strange was about to attend to take a break from villains, especially Loki, and clean his head. He was getting himself packed and prepared and decided to take a shower before leaving. He showered and washed his hair, humming a song softly, enjoying himself. It changed when he stepped in front of the mirror and looked at his reflection in horror.

Strange headed to find Loki, wearing only his towel, his hair still dripping wet. He kicked the door of Loki's room, bursting in angrily. Loki had just changed his clothes, wearing a dark green t-shirt, ripped black jeans and a black leather jacket, his hair in a man bun, heading to a club. He looked at Strange, not knowing if he should laugh at Strange's hair colour or stare at his surprisingly well-built torso. Before he could do anything, Strange grabbed him by his jacket and pressed him with his body against a wall. "You bloody idiot! How am I supposed to show in public with blond hair?" "I think you look ravishing." Loki chuckled. "Fuck you!" "I'd let you." Strange released Loki, surprised by his words, leaving the room quickly. Loki smirked at Strange's reaction, pleased with the result of his simple trick.

In the afternoon, five days after the hair incident, Sam, Scott and Wanda were sitting in the living room, watching a movie, when Peter came back from school, holding tons of books. "Have you seen Mr Loki? He promised to help me with my literature homework." "I haven't seen him for a while, to be honest. We should have had training this morning but he didn't show up. Maybe he came to visit Thor in New Asgard." Wanda answered. "Oh, okay. I'll ask Mr Strange." With those words, Peter left to find Stephen.

Next three days, no one heard about Loki, thinking he was with Thor, but when Thor visited the compound one morning, asking for his brother, they started to be suspicious about Loki's absence, looking for him. Thor, Sam, Bucky and Scott were debating possibilities during the breakfast when Bucky suddenly came out with a question: "Would Strange be able to kill Loki?" Sam looked at him in disbelieve. "What the heck, Bucky? He's a doctor, not a murder." "I mean, you know, after the hair prank, maybe."

Sam was thinking about it for a moment, then stood up, running in the library. "Strange! Where is Loki?" He shouted the second he spotted the sorcerer. "I don't know." "Don't fool me, wizard, I'm serious. Tell me where is Loki. Now!!" Strange gave up: "I may or may not lock him in the mirror dimension three days ago." "Are you kidding me? Stop acting like a child and release him, immediately." Loki, as a god, wasn't in an as miserable state as they expected, fortunately. Only a bit dehydrated, hungry and pissed with Stephen.

When Loki recovered, Sam called them both in the living room to talk to them, Bucky, Scott ad others being there two. "Look, I understand you can't bear each other. It hard for me too to work with Bucky." "Hey!" Bucky responded, offended. "Just kidding, dude. Could you two apologize and simply ignore the other?" The two nodded, feeling like kids punished for eating candy. "Well, who goes first?" Wanda asked, the two staying quiet, not wanting to start. When the silence lasted too long, Scott came up with an idea and shouted: "The greatest sorcerer apologize first." "I'm sorry." The two answered in unison.
