The carriage turned into an abrupt halt, there's alot of carriage here with us- especially on Guards. The king brought a lot of guards with us since he was worried that my ass would get kidnap again, I'm not gonna lie but I agreed on him.

We went outside together- he offer him his hand to me, I looked at it for a split second and inserted my hands in it. The king placed his hand on top of mine- my body felt into a deep hole of silence, my body rigid from the touch without further contemplating I quickly withdraw my hands. I place my hands behind me and looked at the crowd- my heart beating faster as his cold stares bore on mine. He let out a low growl before facing the crowd in front of us. We are on a stage by the way.

The people were silent as if, if they talk they'll die. Then he spoke. "So, you all must've been wondering why I'm here-" everybody nodded. "- the princess of the North is actually the reason why I'm here." In my peripheral vision, he looked at me- but I didn't.

"Since, It's Christmas. I and the princess has decided to donate goods for each of you. Each one must accept the goods that I have to offer if you don't want or like what I had to give we'll talk about it-" He stopped for a moment, eyeing the crowd one by one. "-Privately." He concluded.

"Alright! Make a straight line and no pushing," the guard demanded. The people quickly gathered to form a line, smiles were etched on their faces and that made my heart warm inside. The king and I both sat on the thrones, he was watching the people getting his foods, his jaws clenched and his eyes started to hallow. I looked at him with the most grateful smile. "You're doing great, thank you," I said craning my head to look at him even more. He looked at me and his face softens.

"I have to," he mumbled. I smiled at him and look back at the people. "Look at all their faces- look how they're happy to the things you gave. You did this, and you did a wonderful job." I said looking deeply into the crowd. He didn't reply but I saw that his eyes soften from the way he looked at the happy people before him, how he's proud that he did an amazing job without him knowing it.

He can change. Maybe there's a chance.

"This is a great day," I said to him as we both entered the carriage to get back in the castle. He didn't even look at me he just looked outside the small window of the door. I know, he's regretting it. I didn't say anything along the way, it was something I get used to. When the first thing he's happy and playful the next thing is he regretted to be that way. Like, being happy is a sin.

I sat on one of the tables of the library, I was waiting for Jonah to arrive and asked him about why he's avoiding me or what did I do. It's almost his break and I know he would come to the library to spend his time. I look at the clock and see that it's five-minutes away till he'll have a break.

I was reading another book from a different shelf, it was interesting. I tapped my nails into the wooden table and patiently waited for him. As time flies, I heard footsteps coming towards here. I look up to see that Jonah has already entered but when he saw me he quickly turn back and almost went for the door to go out. But I didn't let him.

"Jonah!" I called. He stopped in the middle of the door. He didn't turn around, so I walked up to him. His back was rigid as I went closer. I held my fingers together to avoid fiddling, "I want to talk to you," I said. He sighed heavily. "Sorry you're majesty but I don't have the time." He lied, of course he does.

"But it's your break, I just want to talk about why are you starting to avoid me? Did I do something wrong, Jonah? Was I the rebel of our friendship?" I asked hoping he would say something to me, looked at me and say the things If I was the wrong one. He shook his head and sighed, slowly he turned around to me revealing his glasses and his green-blue eyes. His tall framed looked down at me. "You did nothing wrong. It was me who did," he admitted. My eyes widened in confusement.
