As we got inside the kingdom, the people around us waved at me. My heart melted as smiles on their faces. What did I do to deserve these smiles?

I waved back. As we got inside the castle, I didn't saw Daniel in the throne room so I'm guessing that he's somewhere in these halls. I gave my coat on one of his servants as I walk around for a bit. This place became so bright now, it was once dark and humid now it's full of emotions.

I went to the fireplace so I can get warm. As I got in there the place became neat and vivacious to look at, especially this bouquet of roses.

Bouquet of rose? Oh yes right, my gifts. I quickly walk to where Aurora's session right now and that's the kitchen. I opened the dining room and Daniel isn't there, he must be really busy besides, I didn't inform that I'm gonna visit.

I went to the kitchen- the people stopped for a bit and noticed me, they all bowed. "Where's Aurora?" I question ed them. I was near the door. They blinked and smiled.

"You just missed her, your majesty. She's in the garden." One of them informed. I bowed and nodded.

I went to my carriage to grab the book and the roses, luckily The garden isn't far. I walk around it to see new flowers, though the orchids that Jonah and I planted died when it snowed the very next day.

As I saw her figure- her back facing mine. I heard her laugh, I smiled as I grip the gifts more.

"Hey, Aurora!" I called with a big smile. She quickly looks at me in astonishment as happiness gleamed on her face.

"Your majesty! What are you doing here? Oh my god, I've missed you." She exclaimed and hugged me.

"Oh, I pay you guys a visit. It gets lonely at my place." I shrugged. She looks at me and then the things in my hands.

"Do you need help with that?" She said extending her arms. I smiled at her.

"Yes, I would love if you accept this bouquet of roses," I said giving it to her. She was taken aback and then jumped in happiness. She covered her mouth as she continues to squirm in glee.

"Thank you so much, your majesty! I never receive something like this." She carefully took it from my hand and carry it as if it was a child. She smelled the roses and her cheeks became pink. "It smells so nice. I really appreciate it- I hope I have something in return." She said softly.

"You don't need to Aurora, it's okay. And I really want you to be happy." I said and hugged her. The birds sang softly with their own song. "Now, where's Jonah?" I asked looking ahead of her to see if he is in the garden as well.

"He's here your majesty, he's helping me plant nigellas, come." She leads the way. I look around at the garden and saw that it became so bright and all sorts of colours came into view when we get deeper and deeper inside.

This is peace, it takes me off the unnecessary things I have encountered these past few days. "Hey, Jo! Queen Y/n's here." I heard Aurora declared as I continue to look at the newly planted flowers that blossom through the sun.

"Y/n? Oh hey! You're here! We've missed you." Jonah quickly jumped on his feet. His tall figure approached me in delight. He opened his arms and hugged me tightly like a sister.

"I missed you too, Jo. I was so busy that I didn't have the mind to visit here." I sighed and laugh.

"It's okay, works are more important" he put his hands on each side of his waist. I look at him with a smile.

I hope he'll love this.

"I want you to have this as a thank you gift." I gave the wrapped book to him he looks at me in curiosity as I bit my bottom lip- which I do when I am excited.

"For me?" He said in awe. I nodded vigorously as I clapped both of my hands in excitement.

"Open it," I said.

He looks at me one more time before he tears the wrappers off. He stared down at the book for a minute then look at me- eyes wide incredulously.

"Do you like it?" I asked, hopefully, you will. He hasn't said a word.

Then suddenly he hugged me tighter than before and twirl around like his own little sister. "I love it so much, this is the new Jane Austin novel isn't it?" He asked and gripped the book.

"I figured that you'll like it." I fiddled with my fingers. He opens one page and became even more shocked.

"Jane even signed it! This is unbelievable," he closed the book once more and hugged me again.

"You're the best."

"I've already read that, and I think that you'll like it as much as I liked it." I chuckled and break the hug.

"So, you guys want to get a break? We'll have tea and talk you know." I suggested. They look at each other and look at me with a disappointed look.

"Err, sorry you're majesty but we aren't allowed to- to take a break at this hour," Aurora answered. I look at them and smiled cheekily.

"Oh, don't worry about that. Daniel wouldn't mind." I said.

"Are you sure about that, Y/n?" Jonah said anxiously and pointed at my direction.

"Trust me on this," Though, I took Daniel's kindness into a horrible advantage. But I agreed anyway. "Let's have a mini party, that'll be great!" I exclaimed in happiness.

Both of them nodded on the agreement.

The three of us went to a small table in the garden- where we can't be disturbed. I wanted Daniel to come but he must be pretty busy especially when he is now becoming a righteous king. I am so proud of him that he's trying and make his kingdom more habitable to his people and not some kind of a living hell.

"So, how's Daniel doing?" I asked as I sipped the tea, looking at them. They nodded and grabbed their teacups.

"Oh, your majesty, ever since you've been here- he's been focusing on being a king rather than his usual self," Aurora replied. I smiled at her. "And every time he needs something he wouldn't shout- not like before... You must be our saviour from hell. Turning the devil to an angel-like he is supposed to be"

"Oh don't flatter me Aurora, I didn't do this. He did, I just told him to be more relevant to being a king and...well, he did it." I said and put my teacups down.  I cleared my throat because it became so awkward now, I really appreciate it.
"So, anyway, this is relaxing I never felt so relaxed these past weeks." I stretched my arms and yawn. "I would fall asleep right now if I could but no rest for the wicked, Eh?" I winked and chuckled.

"Y/n, you're not even close to being wicked." Jonah shrugged his shoulders and drank his tea.

"Am I?" I cheekily said. I laugh it off and appreciate this day. I sighed, I wish this won't last- I'll do anything so it can be like this forever.
