The Silver Fury

The Sanctuary

              
Valkas Pov

            I arrived back at the Sanctuary, I saw hiccups saddle bag so I assumed he was home. I called his name and headed to his room. As I walked in I saw him with this girl and a... Huh, Silver Fury.

            "Hi-hiccup who is this?" I question. " Hey Mom", he says in his hiccupy tone. "This is" he continues, but is interrupted by the girl. " I'm Raven, and this is my silver fury Sylvia." Why are you here" I say trying to sound non accusing. "I just discovered you're place. I am looking for a place to stay, but while I was exploring you're son found me and shot me down." Oh so did he" I say looking at him." He was about to defend himself but stopped short of saying anything. Good boy, I think. " Well, I continue you could stay here and help out a little bit for as long as you want." She thought for a little bit but then responded "sure, I'd love too."

             "Alright I'll take you to a room that would suit you. The only guests we have are traders that we trade with so the guest room isn't to interesting." I continue making small talk. "So where are you from?" I ask. " Well, I um I'm from Berk." What!" I exclaim, have they changed, accepted dragons?" Oh, sorry but no. I found Sylvia, befriended her, and left. They actually tried to kill me and Sylvia before we left." Oh," I say slightly down. "Anyways what family line where you in?" She pauses for a moment and then says " Hofferson, your son is my father."

           "WHAT!"

Ravens Pov

             The woman that was my grandmother kept asking questions. Her last question was what family line are you in. I paused to think but decided to tell her. Her son knew so she might as well know too if I was staying for a while. She practically screamed and then called hiccups name. She then said " I-i don't know what to think. I mean I'm overjoyed that I am a grandmother. Obviously befriending dragons is in the family. So I guess I should just be happy. But Hiccup never told me he had a daughter." " Well actually Astrid was pregnant with me when Hiccup left." As I said the last few words Hiccup walked in. That's when I realized we where in what was their the kitchen. He gaped at me and my grandmother. "You told her!" He practically yelled. But just then she grabbed him into a hug. " Hiccup, you didn't tell me you had a daughter. I'm a grandmother now." She started crying, hopefully with tears of joys. I said " I know this is a bad time but what's you're name?" " Oh sweetie it's Valka, but you can call me gra-" nope I cut her off I will call you Valka." After a little bit of emotion we continued on and welcomed me to my room.

                It was beautiful, it had a bed with a blue sheet, a blue rug sat in the middle of the room, their was a bed side table and it had a blue candle on it, their was a desk and chair with another blue candle and lastly their was a fireplace with blue icicles on the top of it. The whole room was beautiful. The room practically made the color blue my favorite. I put my saddle bag on the desk. Sylvia was unhappy since their wasn't a stone for her to sleep on so I went out to find Valka.

           I'm lost. I went out to find Valka to ask for a stone. I called out and eventually Valka found me. " Hey I said happen to have a map." I chuckle. "Nope" she replies straight up. " What are you doing anyways?" Well I was looking for you, I need a stone for Sylvia. She wasn't happy sleeping on the stone floor sooo." " Alright, follow me" Valka said and headed in the opposite direction.

           We walked for just a short period. Then we came upon the area I flew into. She stated " we get our slabs from a nearby island so we will have to fly their, wanna come?" She asked invitedly. I called Sylvia and she appeared in a few seconds. " Following us have you" I said jokingly. " How 'bout takin a flight?" She picked me up and put me on her back. " Woah, wait." I manage to stop her " Valka and her dragon are coming to. We are going to get you a slab." Groow" she moans slightly. "Alright let's go!" Valka said breaking the awkward conversation.

Ravens pov

" Alright, this island is crawling with dragon hunters so be careful." Valka said lecturing me. " Ok, I'm pretty used to dragon hunters."  When the island was in sight I thought it looked familiar. When we landed I recognized it immediately. " Outcast island!" " Now calm down, we just have to find and adequate slab and then we will be off." The island was bare a few burned trees here and their and a stone floor. We headed to a cliff where I assumed stone slabs broke off. At the top I thought I saw a ship in the distance but I just shook it off. We flew done to the bottom and their we had a few to choose from. Their where lots of small peices but quite a few big ones. As Sylvia investigated Valka stated, " I discovered this place shortly after I left Berk. I was running from the outcast. Suddenly cloudjumper flew down here and almost stopped in interest. I took a mental note and continued on flying out to the ocean." Oh, cool."

Valkas POV

        Raven stood at the edge of the cliff looking out to the ocean. Meanwhile Sylvia investigated the different contending slabs. "Hey do we have to worry about that ship." Raven pointed out at the ocean. I spotted it. "Just tell sylvia to hurry up, I don't think they will be a threat though."

         Soon enough Sylvia picked out a slab. We quickly flew off with it in cloudjumper's claws. We made the flight to the sanctuary in about half an hour. Then Sylvia took her slab to their room.

Ravens POV

            After Valka gave us the slab Sylvia ran off with it. I followed in pursuit, curious as to where she would put it. Soon enough we were entering the room. Sylvia placed it directly in the middle of the room. "Come on now how bout over their" I pointed to the far left corner. Sylvia looked at me and huffed, then picked it up and put it in the corner. "This was when someone breaks in they will kill me first." I said jokingly. I sat on the bed and took out my journal. Not long later Valka called that it was time for dinner.
