BOWSER'S P.O.V

I was at the gate.

"Can't believe we're back here,"I said,"It's been what? 14 years?"

"Well, I was only here a few months ago,"Clawdia said.

"So when you left me you just ran back to your parents? Immature of you,"I said.

"Well, I didn't know what to do. And I didn't live with them by the way. I'm not that kind of a person,"Clawdia scoffed.

"I know. That's what shocked me. You've always been quite independent. An exchange student at 16,"I said proudly.

"I was nervous. Thank god you spoke English. I'm glad my family is bilingual,"she said.

I kissed her on the forehead.

"Well, what are we waiting for? It's going to get harder the longer we stand here,"I said.

"I know, Bowser. How are we going to tell them that you killed Mario?"she asked.

"We don't tell them. It would only complicate things,"I said.

She nodded. "They've always wanted to meet Junior. They'll probably be suspicious we haven't brought him."

"Well, why do we have to go here now? It's only going to complicate things! We have enough money to have a nice life, anywhere!"I said.

She looked at me. "I want to see them, Bowser. I'm not going to cut them out of my life for some stupid decision you made."

"He provoked me."

"I don't really care. It took us this this long to get here anyway. I might as well see them. And I'm taking you with me. I want to lie to them as little as possible, ok?"Clawdia said.

"Ok, fair enough,"I said, as we finally mustered up enough courage to knock on the door to Clawdia's parents house.
