11- why are they ignoring me?

JUNIORS POV

I woke up, very disoriented, but this time, I was in my bed, safe and sound.

I had a terrible nightmare. Or so I thought.

I ran out into the kitchen, and Wendy and Peach were the only ones up.

"Hi,"I said. "I think I just had a nightmare."

"Well, tell us about it,"said Peach, kindly.

Wendy laughed. "13 and still having nightmares. Did you wet the bed this time too?"

I went red.

"Wendy,"said Peach.

Wendy looked at her feet. "Only kidding. Tell us about it."

"So, Peach brought home a guy,"I said, laughing,"Ridiculous, right?"

They both nodded quietly.

"His name was John asked us a ton of questions about Dad and then openly threatened us all. Next thing I hear Peach screaming and then he runs in and drugs all of us,"I said, breathing heavily, reliving it all.

Peach's face turned white, as if she was reliving it herself. Wendy seemed to be stable on the outside, but she didn't let any emotions show through anyway. If she did, she'd be a wreck.

"We all woke up in the sex dungeon, and John takes off his suit and reveals himself as Dad. All of a sudden I'm just in the murder scene again, but instead of Mario he's murdering, it's me. Just before I woke up, I screamed 'why me?' or something and then he killed me. The weird thing was, I could hear you all yelling that you needed to take me to the hospital at the same time,"I said.

Peach nodded and then proceeded to vomit in the sink. Wendy held back her hair.

Wendy made a confused face at me and mouthed 'she's had a rough day, go back to bed'

So I obeyed her.

When I woke up the next morning, the Koopalings all seemed to be really anxious about something.

"What is it?"I asked them as we went to school.

"Nothing,"They all replied, and then proceeded to ignore me.

This was the first time it upset me that they were septuplets, 'The Koopalings' and that I was left out of all that.

For the first time, it seemed like they were treating me like a child.

So I walked off when we got to school, and found Goombette.

"Hi,"I leaned against her locker.

"Hi,"she said. "Do you want to go somewhere?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

She slammed her locker closed. "Let's go. I know what it feels to have a fight with your siblings."

She power walked out of the door and I ran after her.

"But you don't have any siblings,"I said.

"Well, Toadsworth and Toadstelle are practically my siblings since they spend so much time with me. But they've started treating me like a kid lately."

"Same with me. The Koopalings have started treating me like a kid. Well I am about 2 years younger than them, but still. We went through everything together,"I said.

"Yeah. I don't know what it is,"said Goombette, finally sitting down at a park.

I sat beside her.

"Cigarette?"

I accepted it and we started smoking.

"What's your obsession with my dad anyway?"Goombette finally asked,"I've wanted to know for a while."

"I think he's very brave, that's why. I admire him for that,"I said.

"He has demons too. He cheered when the word got out about Mario's death. My mom got so mad about it. They didn't talk properly until about 2 months later. The whole Mario-Bowser thing is a very sensitive topic. Mom and Dad still don't agree about it."

I nodded. "Just so you know, I don't agree with my dad. I used to, sure, but since I seen it all, I don't know. I don't agree with Mario, either, but....."

She cut me off by kissing me.

"Whoa! We can't just forget all the years you made all of our lives hell!"

"You came up to me!"she yelled.

"So? I just wanted to escape for a while!"I said.

"You could have went by yourself, but you called me. Me. So I just assumed,"She said.

"Ok. I guess I could do with this right now,"I said.

She started kissing me again.

At lunch, we both snuck back into school, and went back to ignoring each other again.
