Cretto was still staring at the ice wall in disbelief he really was seeing what he saw, he was happy that people of this world were not going to just give in or give up to his father, but they were going to fight, or least make it hard to get what the king wanted. Cretto and Devine was awaiting word from the King of fire and smoke himself on what the next move, Cretto sent word to him and did it this way because he wanted to allow for more time to pass and the hope Cretto had right right now, was about to die. They could see the messenger coming down between the trees that lead out to the river with the frozen waterfall. The water now so very still like a pond and a massive ice fall leading one end of the pond to the next.
Cretto turned and watched the massager returning with not only word from their king and commander but the light of a brand-new day. He also returned with four of the fire king's best trackers, and Cretto already knew what the king wanted to do without even asking, this battle was not over yet. As Cretto knew they will once again chase the survivors of a village that's been lost and wipe out a whole new race of elementals.
"What did the king say?" Cretto asked soon as the messenger was close enough to hear.
"He wants to speak with you himself sire." He replied back.
Cretto was not ready to hear from his dad himself but he should have known that this was not going to be as easy as just instructions through anther, for when the king wanted something done, he made sure that there was no miscommunication. Cretto walked over to one of the fires still burning into the early morning, when he stopped, he looked over what was a happy and proud village, and now is nothing more than ash and death. Cretto had that same feeling inside him in this moment as he did the day his mother was stolen from him, and he knew that the king had to be stopped, but he also knew he was not in the position to go against him, not yet at least.
Cretto turned back to the fire and flicked a tiny fire ball into the flames and in a whoosh the flames grew bigger and bigger. A large flame jumped from the fire still attached by a thread of flames and when it hit the ground it grew into the king himself. He had all the details as looking at him face to face, the only difference being that all of him and the details of him was made and sculpted from the fire itself. No matter how large and scary the king made himself appear in flesh, the flames that molded him now only allowed him to look bigger and even more freighting than he was.
Cretto worried that his dad might have figured out what he has done and that is the reason he wanted to talk to the young prince rather than send a message.
"King." Cretto said in a half bow to the man made from the fire himself.
"Cretto, Perseus told me what has happened and that is why I wanted to speak with you myself." The king said as smoke came out of the mouth with each and every word he uttered.
"What is it you wish us to do?" Cretto replied back to the flames.
"I sent along my trackers I want you to track the survivors and I want you to find the person responsible for using that level of power and magic and bring them before me. I cannot allow someone to undermine my rise to be the god I am meant to be" The king bellowed with an excitement Cretto never before heard in his voice.
Cretto wanted to know why, but he knew that was not a question anyone was allowed to ask, so instead he replied with, "What do you want with the rest of the surviving elementals, and plus they most likely ran to the other water village, it is quite larger and plus most of the displaced air elementals we attacked are now residing within that same water village. We can't just keep killing everyone or who will be left to worship you as a king or a god?"
