I lay in bed with a pounding headache, I wanted to reach for my pills but it was difficult since I was bedridden for the past week with high fever, vomiting and killer headaches. My mom was usually round to take care of me but today she got called in to work because of some emergency.
The door to my bedroom quietly open, whoever it was trying not to make any noise, the sound of a plastic bag rustling around cause me to force my eyes open "Hey princess" I boyfriend Jake said barely in a whisper. "Hi" I choked out a small smile forming on lips.
"How you feeling babe ?" he questioned walking over to my bed placing a kiss on my forehead. His wet lips connected to burning leaving a tingly feeling. "That's not good " He said running his hand over my hot skin.
"I'll be right back" Jake said while leaving the room. I hear faint noise coming from the kitchen but I was in no position to question what was going on.
About an hour later Jake came back in to the room balancing a huge tray in his hands, I plopped up on my elbows to have a better view of what Jake was up to.
"Well I talked to your mom she won't be back till late" he said placing the tray on my bedside table. On the tray it had a bowl of soup, a cup of tea and my different medications. I smiled up at him "Thanks" I said sitting up in bed. "Anything for my princess" said taking a seat beside me on the bed. I reached out for the soup bowl when Jake lightly swatted my hand away "I'll do it" he said picking up the bowl with a spoon and began to feed me.
Everyday on till I got well Jake, came over just to take care of me, god how did I get this lucky..
